For the unversed, Atishi Marlena comes from a family of great scholars in Delhi. Her mother, Tripta Wahi, and her father, Vijay Singh, are both professors at Delhi University. Atishi, who was born on June 8, 1981, holds 14 portfolios, including finance, education and revenue. In fact, she was the one who held the fort while Arvind Kejriwal was in jail.

Atishi started her academic journey at Springdale School on Pusa Road. In 2001, she attended the famous St. Stephen's College to pursue her undergraduate studies. She then went to Oxford University and completed her Master's degree in History in 2003. In 2005, she attended Magdalen College after she was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship.
