'Balveer' Actor, Dev Joshi Ties The Knot With Aarti In Nepal, Bride Stuns In Red And Golden Lehenga

The wedding season of showbiz is far from over, as a new couple has tied the knot. Well, this time, it's none other than Dev Joshi who left us impressed with his engagement pictures from Nepal in January 2025. He rose to prominence with the fantasy show, Balveer. An entire generation of kids grew up watching him as the ultimate saviour of those in need. Consequently, fans are happy and nostalgic to witness him marry the love of his life, Aarti. At the same time, even the actor ensured to share his joy with fans as he recently took to his Instagram handle and shared some inside moments from the big day.

Aarti stuns in red as she ties the knot with Dev Joshi in Nepal

Dev Joshi recently took to his Instagram handle on February 25, 2025, and shared gorgeous pictures from his wedding ceremony. For the special day, Aarti looked beautiful in a red bridal lehenga with intricate gold embroidery, detailed motifs and traditional patterns. She paired it with a dupatta draped over her head and traditional bridal jewellery, including a maang teeka, gold and pearl earrings, a choker necklace, and a long layered necklace. The bride also wore a matching red, ivory and golden stack of bangles.

Aarti tied her hair back in a neat bun and kept her makeup subtle with defined eyebrows. On the other hand, Dev looked handsome in an elegant cream-coloured sherwani with intricate embroidery and a matching stole. He paired it with a traditional turban and added a statement watch to his look. The candid pictures showcased their love as the couple posed affectionately, held hands and gazed towards each other on their big day. Soon, the friends and fans of the couple extended their best wishes to them.

Dev Joshi and Aarti shared pictures from their haldi and mehendi functions

Before their marriage, the couple also shared pictures from their other pre-wedding festivities, including the haldi and mehendi ceremonies. They shared some adorable moments together in a few candid pictures and joyfully danced with their friends and family members. For the haldi, Aarti wore a vibrant floral lehenga with floral jewellery, while Dev complimented her look in an off-white kurta.

For the mehendi ceremony, Aarti kept her look simple in a soft pastel green embroidered outfit, and Dev wore a pastel blue kurta and a Nehru jacket. The duo also held a Laganiyu ceremony where the bride's family formally invited the groom and his family, showcasing how Dev and Aarti followed all the necessary customs and rituals for their big day. Explaining the meaning of this beautiful ritual, Dev penned:

"Laganiyu (Accepting the Invitation to Marriage). A beautiful ceremony where the brother and family of the bride invite the groom to marry their daughter. So pure feelings and blessed to be the Groom of Aarti."

Dev Joshi surprised fans when he took to his Instagram handle and shared his engagement pictures with Aarti from Nepal. The couple visited the Kamakhya Devi temple after their big day and later celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake. For their visit to the celebration, Dev wore a powder blue button-up shirt with black formal pants, suspenders and a printed blue-beige tie. However, Aarti stole the show in her pink floral saree and intricate gold jewellery paired with some bangles. She kept her look simple, as the couple began a new journey of togetherness.
