Taking to her IG handle, Devoleena Bhattacharjee dropped some adorable glimpses from Ganesh puja celebrations at her home. In the photos, the actress looked stunning as she donned a pink-hued saree featuring a red border. Devoleena teamed her saree with a matching red blouse. With soft touch-ups and golden jewellery, Devoleena finalised her look for the day. On the other hand, Devoleena's hubby, Shanwaz Shaikh complemented his wife in a rust-hued kurta, which he teamed with black pants.

As soon as Devoleena Bhattacharjee dropped an array of pictures from Ganpati puja celebrations, netizens rushed to the comment section to drop love-filled messages. However, a certain section of netizens remained unimpressed about Devoleena celebrating Ganpati puja with her hubby, who is a Muslim.
Reacting to the photos, some internet users started dropping mean comments. While one user wrote, "Now u r muslim tum yeh nai kr sakti... But gud to see bhale tumne musalman se sadi ki but tum apne ruts nai bhul Rahi follow kr rai ho.. keep follow... Don't be like dipika faiza," another commented, "Tumhe or koi nhi mila ta ky shdi k lie." Some other users showered love upon the actress. Earlier, in an interview with ETimes, Devoleena Bhattacharjee opened up about the backlash she received after getting married to Shanwaz Shaikh. The actress stated that no matter what, people would always find a way to make mean comments about someone's life, so she doesn't really care about such trolls. Talking about the generic notion of trolling, Devoleena stated:
“Who the hell are these people and who knows them? Kaun ho tum to comment on my life and choices? The problem is no matter whom you marry, you will be trolled. If you marry a rich guy, you will be called a gold digger, you marry a good-looking guy, they will tell you that it’s not a great match, you marry someone who has a heart of gold but is average looking, they will say, 'Devo, kya match dhoondha?’ Ye log doosre ki khushi bardaasht hi nahi kar sakte."

In the same interview, Devoleena Bhattacharjee opened up about the reason for her hush-hush wedding with Shanwaz Shaikh. The actress stated that their marriage was sudden, and they were thinking of keeping it a secret until their grand reception. The diva further mentioned that she couldn't stop herself from posting the photos of her wedding. But she also added that her hubby felt a bit awkward about receiving attention. Thus, he wanted to keep their wedding a secret.
