Devoleena Bhattacharjee has been one of the most loved actresses on Indian television due to her iconic character of 'Gopi Bahu'. In her personal life, the actress married the love of her life, Shanawaz, in an intimate ceremony in 2022. A couple of days ago, the actress revealed that she and her husband are all set to embrace parenthood. The actress took to her IG handle and gave us a glimpse into the preparations.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee has often revealed in different interviews how she prays to Ganpati Bappa during the highs and lows in her life. Due to the unwavering devotion to the lord she likes to bring Ganpati Bappa to her home. The soon-to-be mom shared a video on her IG wherein she made arrangements to welcome Ganpati Bappa home. At the same time, it showcased her husband, Shanawaz, bringing the idol of Ganpati Bappa to their home in a grand way.

The Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress was seen preparing flower diyas and decorating the place she prepared for the lord. For the occasion, she wore a loose bottle green-hued Indian outfit with minimal makeup and hair tied in a ponytail. She even prepared a pooja thali with the same devotion to welcome Bappa into her home.
In the past few months, several reports revealed that Devoleena is expecting her first child with her husband, Shanawaz. However, the actress denied the rumours. But on August 15, 2024, she took to her IG handle and shared photos from her Panchamrit ritual. For the unversed, it's done to bless a pregnant woman and her baby. The actress posed with her husband in the pictures, who looked equally happy. Sharing the pictures, she penned:
"Celebrating the divine journey to motherhood with the sacred Panchamrit ritual, where tradition and love blend to bless the mother and her unborn child with health, prosperity, and joy during this beautiful chapter of life."
Devoleena is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer and was first seen in Dance India Dance 2. After the show, she made her acting debut in 2011 with Sawaare Sabke Sapne Preeto. But her big break came when she replaced Gia Manek as 'Gopi Modi' in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. The show was highly successful and as the lead, she became a household name in India. Later, the actress did shows like Bigg Boss 13, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2, Dil Diyaan Gallaan and more.
