Karwa Chauth is an auspicious Indian ritual that is celebrated every year with great enthusiasm by all the suhaagans. On this day, a married woman keeps a fast and prays for the long life of her husband. Having said that, just like every year, this time too many celebrities got hitched to the love of their life and now they are celebrating their first Karva Chauth.
Dhanashree Verma Chahal, the wife of Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal, observed her first Karwa Chauth this year. It was a memorable experience for the adorable couple. For the unversed, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree had finally walked down the aisle on December 22, 2020, and their wedding pictures were indeed a beautiful treat for their fans. Sharing the wedding pictures on their IG handles, Yuzvendra and Dhanashree had written, “22.12.20 We started at “Once upon a time” and found “Our happily ever after,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity & beyond!”

On her first Karwa Chauth, Dhanashree had prepared her favourite oats kheer recipe for her sargi. Not only was the preparation scrumptious and flavourful, but also full of nutrition. Taking to her Instagram handle, Dhanashree shared a picture of her first Karwa Chauth sargi and penned down a special note for her husband, Yuzvendra Chahal, which could be read as:
“Today, @yuzi_chahal23 and I are celebrating our first Karwa Chauth, one of our many firsts together! I wanted to make sure today becomes a special memory that we can cherish forever. So, I woke up excited for my early morning Sargi ritual and prepared one of my treasured recipes, Quaker Oats Kheer. Made with love.”
A few moments back, Yuzvendra Chahal took to his Instagram and shared a few pictures with his wife, Dhanashree, from their first Karwa Chauth. The two looked picture-perfect as they smiled for the camera. While Dhanashree donned a beige lehenga with multi-coloured embroidery on it. On the other hand, her husband, Yuzvendra complemented her in a blue kurta-pyjama. She accessorised her look with minimal jewellery that included a gold necklace, matching earrings, and pink bangles.

Time and again, Yuzvendra Chahal has made us realise that he never skips a chance to make his loved ones feel special on their important days. It was on September 27, 2020, Yuzvendra Chahal had taken to his IG handle and had shared two adorable pictures with his then-fiancee, Dhanashree on her birthday. In the photos, the two had looked adorable and super-happy while being in each other's arms. Along with these cutesy pictures, the actor had penned a heart-melting note, and it could be read as
"Happy Birthday, Love! May this special day of yours be filled with love and blessings. Enjoy, and have fun. As I am always saying to you, what makes you happy makes me happy too. I love you."
