Dhanashree Verma, popular choreographer and digital creator, is once again in the headlines, but this time, it’s for her fun-filled celebrations with close friends amid divorce proceedings with Indian cricketer, Yuzvendra Chahal. She recently shared a series of photos on her social media, from a flower-filled Holi celebration with Neha Kakkar and a few close friends.

Dhanashree recently took to her Instagram to share a carousel of photos from her fun-filled Holi celebrations with her close friends. For the occasion, she draped a yellow-toned saree, keeping her hair open and looking pretty in minimal makeup. She could be seen having the best time with her close friends, including Neha Kakkar and her husband, Rohanpreet Singh, celebrating the festival with flower petals instead of colours. She captioned her post:

“Happy Holi. Keertan & phoolon ki holi with my best people. Celebration of the divine within.”

It was only a few days ago that Dhanashree unarchived her photos with Yuzvendra Chahal, which she had removed from her Instagram profile. This happened just after the ICC Champions Trophy finals where Chahal was spotted sharing cosy moments with RJ Mahvash at the Dubai International Stadium. Amid their ongoing divorce proceedings, Dhanashree’s unarchived posts raised questions among netizens.

Dhanashree’s cryptic post amid Chahal and RJ Mahvash’s dating rumours

On March 10, 2025, soon after Yuzi and Mahvash’s photos from Dubai Stadium started making rounds on social media, Dhanashree took to her IG Stories and shared a cryptic note on women being blamed for everything. Her post read:

"Blaming women is always in fashion."

The timing of Dhanashree posting the cryptic note made it raise eyebrows. Many netizens interpreted this as a subtle response to the online trolling she has faced since news of the divorce became public. 

Dhanashree and Chahal’s divorce row

Dhanashree and Chahal reportedly fell in love during the COVID-19 lockdown through dance lessons. They got engaged in August 2020 and married that December. However, by 2025, their relationship seems to have ended, with reports suggesting that the two have been living separately for 18 months. It has now been confirmed that Dhanashree and Chahal have filed for mutual divorce in Mumbai’s Bandra court, citing ‘compatibility issues’ as the primary reason behind their decision to separate. However, neither of them has made an official announcement regarding the status of their marriage.

Dhanashree’s family breaks silence on Rs. 60 crore alimony rumours

Amid the separation news, rumours were rife that Dhanashree had demanded Rs 60 crore as alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal. However, Dhanashree’s family issued a strong statement refuting these claims. One of her family members made a statement to HT City, clearing the air about the alimony buzz, saying:

“We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever.”

As the divorce proceedings continue between Dhanashree and Chahal, it seems the former is focusing on spreading love and positivity, as evident from her recent posts.
