Dhanashree Verma Cheers For Virat Kohli As Her Ex-Husband, Yuzvendra Chahal Loses IPL 2025

Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma's separation was the most talked about one since the start of the year. It came as a shock to their fans. After this, a lot was said about Dhanashree, and people trolled her brutally. Despite this, Dhanashree didn't pay any heed to the trolling. Now, as Yuzvendra's team, Punjab Kings, lost the finals in IPL 2025, Dhanashree cheered for Virat Kohli and his team, RCB.

Dhanashree Verma heaps praise for Virat Kohli as his team wins IPL after eighteen years

Dhanashree Verma took to her Instagram handle and shared a photo of Virat Kohli, who was proudly walking with the shiny trophy with his winning team. Along with it, she showered praises and congratulated Virat Kohli and his team. Interestingly, RCB's final match was with Yuzvendra Chahal's team, Punjab Kings. She wrote:

"Finally no. 18 for 18 Congratulations @virat.kohli and the team." 

When Dhanashree Verma opened up about her divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal

Dhanashree Verma penned the note right after talking about the trolling she went through during her divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal. In an interview with The Times Of India, Dhanashree recalled the misleading narratives about her and people calling her names, without knowing the whole story. She said:

"The narratives circulating around me are far from the truth. None of it reflects who I am, and I don’t engage with it because I know my values, my upbringing, and the kind of person I am. I’ve always believed in maintaining dignity and grace. Putting others down has never been my way, and it never helps anyone rise in life."

The 28-year-old gorgeous choreographer stated that she ignores all the noise that doesn't help her grow. She added that knowing her personal goals helped her filter out all the unnecessary distractions that could otherwise harm her mental health. When asked about how public perception has affected her. Dhanashree said:

"I have been working on myself even more now. Even though I have been a very hardworking person, I have now completely changed my lifestyle and am focusing on self-love, inner strength, discipline, exercise, good food, and surrounding myself with people who look up to me. I want to be a part of a journey that inspires people around me."

Dhanashree Verma hasn't turned her back on love

Dhanashree, who had a bitter divorce with Yuzvendra Chahal, had not stopped believing in love. Despite the shadows of strained first marriage, she has not turned her back on love. Dhanashree called love the most 'beautiful aspect' of her life, and it has only evolved over time. Dhanashree stated that she is currently focusing on her family and professional life. But she is open to what the 'future holds' for her. She was quoted as saying:

"I will always say and believe that love is a beautiful aspect of life, and your understanding of it evolves over time. For now, I am focusing on my work and career while simultaneously working on my personal development. I am open to what the future holds for me, but for now, it is my career and my family that are of utmost importance to me."
