South superstar, Dhanush has always won our hearts with his impeccable and effortless acting skills. But since last month, his name has been hitting the headlines for announcing his divorce from his now ex-wife, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth. For the unversed, the actor and the superstar, Rajinikanth's daughter had tied the knot in a Tamil wedding on November 18, 2004.
Dhanush and Aishwaryaa are blessed with two sons, Yathra Raja and Linga Raja. However, like every other couple, Dhanush and Aishwaryaa had seen many ups and downs in their relationship. But, after 18 years of being married, the couple had decided to part ways, and on the night of January 17, 2022, Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth and Dhanush had taken to their respective social media handles and had announced their divorce. A few hours ago, Dhanush took to his Instagram handle and shared the first post ever after his divorce hoopla with his now ex-wife, Aishwaryaa. In the candid picture, we can see Dhanush is trying to fix his son, Yathra's hair on a beautiful sunset backdrop in Ooty while shooting for his film, Naane Varuven. Sharing the picture, he penned a goofy caption to it which can be read as:
"Now, where have I seen this before? #yathradhanush ..#naanevaruven (along with a lot of hugs and heart emojis.)"
As soon as he shared the picture, his fans went crazy and dropped all their love in the comment section for the superstar's bonding with his son. A lot of them put heart-eyed emojis and love emoticons. One of them even picked that Yathra has a spitting image of Dhanush and commented, "Whoa! it's Confusing Who Is Mr. D."

In Aishwaryaa's last post for her now ex-husband, Dhanush, nobody could have guessed the turmoil they were dealing with as she had shared her 'proud wife' moment. On the 67th National Film Awards, Rajinikanth was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his immense contribution to the Indian film industry. On the other hand, Dhanush had bagged the Best Actor award for his stellar performance in Asuran. It was a proud moment for Aishwaryaa when her father and her now ex-husband were bestowed with prestigious awards. Taking to her IG handle on October 25, 2021, Aishwaryaa had shared two photos, one of her father and her husband and one with them. Along with the pictures, she had captioned her post as:
“They are mine … and this is history #prouddaughter #proudwife.”
However, things have turned in a different way, and the couple has parted ways. May they both find happiness in their respective lives!
