Legendary actor, Dharmendra got married twice. In his first marriage with Prakash Kaur, he was blessed with four kids, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeeta Deol and Ajeeta Deol. Despite being married to Prakash, Dharmendra got hitched to the 'Dream girl' of Bollywood, Hema Malini, and they are proud parents of two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
For the longest amount of time, there was alleged tension between Dharmendra's families, and it was not until the screening of Sunny's last released film, Gadar 2, that he and Bobby were joined by Esha and Ahana at the same event.

Now, we stumbled upon an angry moment of Dharmendra in front of the media, from Esha Deol's wedding with Bharat Takhtani in 2012. For the unversed, the wedding was not attended by Esha's stepbrothers, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol or anyone else from Dharmendra's that side of the family. Thus, the entire fanbase of the Deols was curious to know if the actors were invited to the same or not.
During a media interaction amidst Esha's wedding, Dharmendra was asked, "Why Bade bhaiya is not present at the wedding". To this, the then-bride's father got extremely angry with the journalist and even lashed out at him. Dharmendra had said, "Aap bakwaas mat kijiye", and left the place hurriedly.

Well, the real reason behind Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol's absence at Esha Deol's wedding with Bharat Takhtani is still not known. However, we spotted their cousin, Abhay Deol performing the rituals at Esha's wedding. In the priceless frame, while Abhay was playing the role of Esha's bade bhaiya, Hema Malini and Dharmendra were seen standing beside her.

Well, it seems that the stepbrothers and sisters have already let the bygones be bygones and now shares a strong bond. Proof of the same is often found when they post lovely wishes on their birthdays and even cheer for one another's success. In October 2023, to mark her stepbrother's birthday, Esha shared a beautiful picture with him from the Gadar 2 success bash that she hosted for him. In the picture, the duo was seen sharing a side hug as they happily posed for the lens.
Sharing the picture, the loving sister penned:
"Happy birthday Bhaiya."
In 2023, Sunny Deol's son, Karan Deol got hitched to the love of his life, Drisha Acharya. However, again, at this wedding, neither Hema Malini nor her daughters were seen. Thus, rumours were rife about Sunny Deol not inviting his stepmother and sisters to his son's wedding. However, dismissing reports about any bad blood between them, on June 20, 2023, Esha shared a wish for her nephew, Karan. She posted an IG story, wishing the newly-married couple for their new beginnings. She wrote:
"Congratulations Karan and Drisha. Wishing you bot ha a lifetime of togetherness and happiness."
