Veteran star, Dharmendra has left the entire country heartbroken. Fans had been praying for the actor's health, as it was only weeks ago that he was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital, leaving his fans concerned. While Dharmendra returned home later and was recovering, a recent video of an ambulance arriving at his residence has once again created uncertainty, and now, in an unfortunate update, many reports have confirmed that the actor has passed away on November 24, 2025.

Dharmendra passed away at the age of 89

It was on the morning of November 24, 2025, when a video surfaced on social media, leaving fans concerned. A video shared on Pallav Paliwal's Instagram showed an ambulance arriving at Dharmendra's home in Mumbai. While there have been no updates about the actor's health since he returned home, the video has created immense concern online. It was Filmfare, who posted an update confirming that the actor had passed away on the morning of November 24, 2025.

Another video shared by Pinkvilla also showed, Esha Deol's ex-husband, Bharat Takhtani, arriving at Dharmendra's house. Concerned fans have been flooding the comment section for confirmation about the actor's health. While there hasn't been any official statement from the family, the news has left the fans shattered.

Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital only two weeks ago

On the morning of November 12, 2025, doctors at Breach Candy Hospital told Press Trust of India (PTI) that the actor was doing well and had been discharged. In a statement to the publication, the medical team had revealed that his family, including sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, decided to take the actor home. The actor had finally been sent home at around 7:30 am, after being in and out of the hospital for weeks. Dr. Pratit Samdani told PTI:

"Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7:30 am. He will be treated at home, as the family has decided to give him treatment at home."

Dharmendra's death hoax had left the country heartbroken

Before Dharmendra's discharge on November 12, 2025, reports had gone rife that the actor had passed away after being in the hospital for days. Pictures and videos of the Deol family in tears had added to the concern, leaving fans unsettled. However, the actor's family soon slammed the buzz and called out media outlets for spreading such false allegations. Even Sunny Deol was seen getting angry at the media for failing to give the family any privacy in such a difficult time.

On November 11, 2025, rumours began circulating online that Dharmendra had passed away at the age of 89. However, his family immediately bashed the reports. The Sholay star's wife, Hema Malini, and their daughter, Esha Deol, took to social media to dismiss the false reports, assuring fans that the actor was alive and responding well to treatment. They stated that he is stable.
