Dharmendra is one of the most talented and handsome actors of his generation. He made his acting debut with the film, Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. Later, he went on to work in blockbuster films like Sholay, Apne, Seeta Aur Geeta, Ankhen, Yamla Pagla Deewana, Baghavat, Dream Girl, and many more. Recently, Dharmendra hit all the headlines for his kissing scene with Shabana Azmi in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. And now, the legendary actor compared his on-screen kissing scene with his pota, Rajveer Deol's liplock scene in the film, Dono.
According to The Indian Express, Dharmendra recently interacted with the media at a Durga puja pandal and opened up about his role in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Talking about the same, he addressed his kissing scene with Shabana Azmi and mentioned that he accepts only roles that connect with his heart. Dharmendra also compared his kissing scene with his pota, Rajveer Deol's liplock in the film, Dono and said:
"Films are our medium to connect with the audience. I choose roles that resonate with my heart when they come my way. I don't know how many kisses my grandson did in his film, mere ek kiss ka shor hogaya."

Earlier, during a press conference, Dharmendra spoke about his kissing scene with Shabana Azmi in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Talking about the same, the veteran actor revealed that he has been getting calls and messages from a lot of people ever since the film was released. Taking a hilarious dig at those who are questioning him on his kissing scene, Dharmendra said:
"Message aa rahe hai ki Dharam ji apne aesa aesa kar diya. Yeh to mere daayein haath ka khel hai."
Earlier, in an interview with News16, Dharmendra talked about how his kissing scene with Shabana greatly impacted the audience as they were not expecting it. He also mentioned that the last time he did a kissing scene was in the film, Life In A Metro with Nafisa Ali, and people appreciated it. In his words:
"I am hearing that Shabana and I have surprised the audience with the kissing scene, and at the same time, they have even applauded it. I think people weren't expecting it and it came very suddenly which is why it created an impact. The last time I did a kissing scene was in Life In A Metro with Nafisa Ali, and at that time, too, people had appreciated it."

The film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani grabbed a lot of attention courtesy of Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi's kissing scene. Moreover, the intimate scene between the veteran actors came as a surprise for their fans. And they even reacted to their kissing scenes and flooded Twitter with their surprised reactions. While one of the Twitter users wrote, "Dharmendra and shabana ji liplock was something no one expected and was shocked." Another one commented, "So Ranveer meets Alia to help his grandfather Dharmendra reunite with his ex flame Shabana Azmi and the formerly paralysed Dharmendra stands on his foot and both him and Shabana share a kiss."
