Dharmendra's Cousin Guddu Dhanoa Gives First Update About His Health After Getting Discharged

Dharmendra left many of his fans scared and extremely worried about his health. After he was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital. However, his family and people close to him were left even more shocked when reports claimed that the actor was on a ventilator. However, the family kept stating that he is doing better and responding to the treatment. But a certain report about his death sent shockwaves, which turned out to be fake. Now, he is discharged from the hospital, and his cousin shared his health update.

Dharmendra's cousin, Guddu reveals details about the veteran actor's health after returning home

On November 12, 2025, Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital as his children, including Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, chose to continue his treatment at their home. Now, Dharmendra's cousin and filmmaker, Guddu Dhanoa, visited him. In a conversation with the media stationed outside the actor's Juhu residence, Guddu shared that Dharmendra was doing fine. However, he cannot say much beyond it as he doesn't know any details. He said:

"He is doing fine. I can’t say much beyond that; I don’t know the details."

After worries and false reports regarding Dharmendra's health surfaced on the internet, Sunny Deol released an official statement regarding the same. He shared that Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and his recovery will continue at their home. They requested the media and public to refrain from making speculations and respect their family's privacy during this time. He said:

"Mr. Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We kindly request the media and the public to refrain from any further speculation and to respect his and the family’s privacy during this time. We appreciate everyone’s love, prayers, and good wishes for his continued recovery, good health, and long life. Please respect him because he loves you."

For those who don't know, Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after he complained of breathlessness on November 1, 2025. On November 10, 2025, reports claimed that the actor was admitted to the ICU and was put on a ventilator. After which, Hema Malini stated that he will get well soon. But on November 11, 2025, reports of the veteran's fake death surfaced, and the family slammed the media claims. 

Soon, Hema Malini and Esha Deol slammed the media for reporting fake claims about Dharmendra, who was doing better and responding well to treatment. Hema Malini took to her X handle, and slammed the fake news reporting. She called it unforgivable as responsible channels were spreading false news about a person who was responding to treatment. She wrote:

"What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Esha Deol also took to her Instagram handle and issued a statement. Without mincing her words, she lashed out at the media and called them out for spreading false news. She confirmed that her father is stable and recovering. She wrote:

"The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request that everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery."
