Emotional Esha Deol And Hema Malini Controlling Their Tears Spotted After Visiting Dharmendra

Bollywood's veteran actor, Dharmendra, is admitted to Breach Candy Hospital. Since morning, his fans have been praying for his good health and speedy recovery, as the news of his death left many shaken. However, the family promptly slammed the fake news and assured fans that he was doing well. But, a video of an emotional Esha Deol along with her tensed mother, Hema Malini has surfaced on the internet.

On November 11, 2025, Esha Deol, along with her mother, Hema Malini, was spotted leaving the hospital in a car after visiting hours had ended, where Dharmendra was admitted. Esha Deol looked extremely worried as she held her hand over her head and tried to avoid paps, insensitively putting their camera flashlights on their faces. On the other hand, Hema Malini looked as if she was trying her best to control her tears. Her cousin brother, Abhay Deol, was also sitting in the front seat. 

For those who don't know, Dharmendra was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after he complained of breathlessness on November 1, 2025. Yesterday, reports claimed that the actor was admitted to the ICU and was put on a ventilator. After which, Hema Malini stated that he will get well soon. But on November 11, 2025, reports of the veteran's fake death surfaced, and the family slammed the media claims. 

Soon, Hema Malini and Esha Deol slammed the media for reporting fake claims about Dharmendra, who was doing better and responding well to treatment. Hema Malini took to her X handle, and slammed the fake news reporting. She called it unforgivable as responsible channels were spreading false news about a person who was responding to treatment. She wrote:

"What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Esha Deol also took to her Instagram handle and issued a statement. Without mincing her words, she lashed out at the media and called them out for spreading false news. She confirmed that her father is stable and recovering. She wrote:

"The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request that everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery."

Dharmendra and Hema Malini's love story began in the 1970s while working on Tum Haseen Main Jawan. The duo had worked in several hit Bollywood films, and while Dharmendra was head-over-heels in love with Hema Malini despite being married with kids, Hema Malini kept her distance from him. But she couldn't resist his love for long. Since Dharmendra couldn't divorce his first wife, Prakash, he converted to Islam to make his second wedding with Hema Malini legal. The couple quietly got married in a nikah in 1980, followed by an Iyengar-style wedding to respect Hema Malini's tradition.
