Dharmesh's success story is undoubtedly a perfect new-age exemplar of a rags-to-riches chronicle. Right from a vada pav seller by the roadside, a reality show contestant to one of the prominent dancers, choreographers and actors, Dharmesh has marked his own niche in the industry.
Not being born with a silver spoon, Dharmesh sir (he is also known by this name in the industry) had gone on to write his own destiny. And while doing so, little did he know that he will find his ladylove while participating on a dance reality show. Well, for the ones who don’t know, Dharmesh is in a relationship with once Dubsmash sensation, Breshna Khan. The two had met on the sets of Dance India Dance long back in 2009 and soon fell prey to each other’s hearts. Today, on September 6, 2019, it is Breshna Khan’s birthday, and how can the doting boyfriend stay behind in wishing her on social media! Expressing his love for her and the fact that she has taught him how to love, Dharmesh’s birthday wish for her is all about love. Sharing a few snaps with the birthday girl and a solo one of her, Dharmesh worded his post as, “Aaj birthday uska he jisne muje pyar karna sikhaya, aur meri life better banane ki jee jaan se koshish ki he, bahot se compromise bahot wait aur bahot pyar kiya, u always in my heart, many many happy returns of the day @breshna_h_khan.” To this post of his, Breshan couldn’t control herself and commented, “Thank you @dharmesh0011 your words mean a lot”, followed by two hug emojis.
On Breshna’s birthday last year, Dharmesh had openly committed his love for her when he had shared a lovely picture from her birthday celebration and said those three magical words in the caption. Below is the picture in question and along with the same, he had written, “Happy birthday love. Love you so much”, followed by a number of heart emojis. In an interview with The Times of India, Dharmesh had explained the power of a dance reality show and how it has given noteworthy space to him and others in the industry. He was quoted as saying, “There have surely been many changes on these shows since the time we participated in 'Dance India Dance'. Jab ek cheez chal jati hai toh dusre log sochte hain ki humein bhi waisa hi kuch karna hai par upgrade karke. We started it (the idea of dance reality shows) and then everybody wanted to start their own version of it. Kisi ko bachchon ke liye nikaalna tha, kisi ko 'Dance+' nikaalna tha, pehle log sirf ek show dekhte thay, ab char show dekhte hain.”
He had further gone on to add, “So it is amazing to know that people are appreciating the art. Kids and youngsters are able to make their dreams come true because of these shows. Yeh shows logon ko acting opportunities de rahe hain. Koi Maharana Pratap bann gaya (referring to Faizal Khan, who won the second season of 'Dance India Dance Li’l Masters' and acted in 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap'), koi choreographer bann gaya hai, koi movies kar raha hai.
