D4vd, a rising music star in Los Angeles, has come under scrutiny after the LAPD found the remains of a 15-year-old in his Tesla car. His abandoned car was found in the Hollywood Hills. Soon it was towed into an impound lot where police later uncovered a decomposed and dismembered body inside the car's front trunk. Since then, the entertainment industry has been in shock, and the D4vd, who has been on a world tour, had to put a stop to it and return to help in the investigation of the case. 

Who is the 15-year-old Celeste Rivas found dead in D4vd's Tesla?

The victim has now been identified as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas. According to TMZ, she went missing in April 2024 from Lake Elsinore, California. Recently, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner officially confirmed her identity. Celeste's disappearance had haunted her family for more than a year, and her mother now told outlets that she feared the worst once details of the discovery began to surface. It is yet to become public whether D4vd knew Celeste Rivas or not.

After the police found the description of the remains similar to Celeste's features, her mother had to come forward to confirm the same. She revealed that before her daughter went missing, she was dating a person named David. However, there is not much known about the nature of that relationship. After the confirmation from the coroner regarding Celeste's identity, her missing case has been met with a shocking conclusion. However, many questions continue to remain unanswered.

How did D4vd and Celeste Rivas have the same tattoo? 

The most surprising detail that has surfaced after Celeste's identity is her tattoo, which happens to be similar to the singer D4vd. Celeste's mother had reported that her daughter had the word "Shhh…" inked on her right index finger. That same tattoo has also been seen on D4vd's hand. The striking similarity has raised speculation online about whether the two ever crossed paths. There is no clarification on the identity tattoos till now, but it has increased the public interest in this case. 

D4vd cancels his show amid investigation

The discovery of a dead body in D4vd's car has also put a halt to the singer's career. He has been on a tour and away from Los Angeles for over a month. But the singer had to cancel his scheduled concert in Seattle at Showbox SoDo after the victim's identity was confirmed. The outlet highlighted that the artist says he has been fully cooperating with authorities during the investigation. For those unaware, there was no report about the Tesla being stolen before. At the same time, the police have not revealed who was driving it before it was found abandoned on September 8.

The LAPD is continuing to investigate the case while those close to Celeste and the singer await a conclusion.
