Jennifer Lopez needs no introduction. The American singer and songwriter has made fans dance to her tunes for a long time now. But while her music topped charts, so did the headlines about her personal life in the newspaper. Recently, the diva was once again in the news after she made a candid confession on The Howard Stern Show, where she opened up about her struggles with love and relationships. The On the Floor singer admitted that despite multiple relationships and marriages, she didn't feel loved. However, her comment did sit well with her first husband, Ojnai Noa, who wasted no time in reacting to it publicly.
After Jennifer Lopez's stint on The Howard Stern Show, her first and former husband, Ojani Noa, took to his Instagram handle and accused the singer of being dishonest during their short-lived marriage. In a strongly worded statement, he stated that he or her ex-husbands were not the problem, but her as she was the one to cheat. He claimed that JLo had been unfaithful during their 11-month marriage, which lasted from February 1997 to January 1998. In his words:
"I was in love with you. I moved out of state to support, protect, and care for you. I'm an amazing, loving person, a great human being. Honest, faithful to you, never lied, never [misbehaved], never cheated on you. I was good to you. I'm too good a [man] for you."
He further accused Lopez of choosing fame and fortune over love. Ojani claimed that Jennifer lied and cheated during their marriage. At the same time, she requested him to keep it all under wraps to protect herself from the bad self. Meanwhile, he alleged he had tried to save their marriage for the sake of her image. Ojani concluded his message by requesting her to come clean about their past and tell the truth to the media. Recalling her alleged unfaithfulness, he penned:
"You decided to lie, to cheat on me, and even though I stayed. You begged me to keep the marriage intact to avoid bad press. But you went for the fast lane of your career/stardom, not caring about me, you wanted to continue cheating and lying."
Jennifer Lopez and Ojani Noa met in the mid-1990s when he worked as a waiter at a restaurant in Miami. They had a whirlwind romance that led to their marriage in 1997, around the time Jennifer's fame was on the rise. However, her marriage quickly deteriorated under the pressure of fame and public scrutiny. According to People Magazine, she filed for divorce in January 1998, less than a year after their wedding. It was bitter when JLo took legal action to stop Ojani from releasing private honeymoon footage and writing a tell-all book about their relationship. Moreover, she was speculated to be romantically linked with Sean "Diddy" Combs, whom she later dated for three years, and Ojani hinted that he may have been a reason for the end of their marriage.
After Jennifer Lopez's marriage to Ojani Noa hit the rocks, she was in a relationship with Sean "Diddy" Combs from 1999 to 2001. After their breakup, she married Cris Judd in 2001, and the marriage lasted two years. In 2004, she tied the knot with Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins, Max and Emme. She was also engaged to Ben Affleck in the early 2000s, but the romance ended soon. They rekindled the romance in 2021 and married in 2022, only to file for divorce again in 2024.
