Did Tamannaah Bhatia Support Deepika In Her Row With Sandeep Reddy? Here's Why Internet Thinks So

Bollywood has witnessed multiple conflicts in the past few days, and one of the most talked-about one is an alleged rift between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Deepika Padukone. It all started when the filmmaker changed the casting of his upcoming film, Spirit, which soon became a hot topic of discussion about working hours, professionalism, the gender pay gap, and the use of PR in the industry. Although none of the two icons have come out to directly take the names of each other, fans have taken a clear note of their actions which has taken over social media. Amid the whole issue, Tamannaah Bhatia recently came under the spotlight for reacting to a throwback video of Deepika and later deleting it. 

Tamannaah Bhatia reacts to Deepika's video on misogyny propaganda against women

Deepika Padukone has not made any comment on her alleged rift with Sandeep Reddy Vanga, but her fans have started to showcase their support for her. One such fan reshared an old video of Deepika from the promotions of her 2020, film Chhapaak where her reply against a misogynistic comment won hearts. Fans noticed that Tamannaah liked the video, which they took as a hint of support for Deepika, but she later deleted it.

For those unaware, Chhapaak was the first film Deepika featured in, after her marriage in 2018. She also took up the role of a producer, and in the video, a reporter was seen asking her whether her husband, Ranveer, had invested in her production. She immediately shut him down and asked him who said that because it was her money. Her response got applause from the crowd at the event. The reel featured a bold text which read:

"Propaganda she's not falling for: Disrespect, men, sexism, gender pay gap, working overtime, unprofessionalism, misogyny, double standards."

What is the alleged clash between Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Deepika Padukone? 

The whole controversy began when filmmaker, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was busy working on the preproduction of his upcoming film, Spirit. He finalised Prabhas to play the male protagonist with Deepika who later backed out. Some media reports claimed that she exited due to disagreement over the shooting schedule consisting of 6 hours, contract terms and pay. 

As per Bollywood Hungama, the demands shocked Sandeep, and some media reports called her 'unprofessional'. Meanwhile, the filmmaker finalised Triptii Dimri for the role and announced it on social media. Later, an entertainment portal published a story where they gave a hint about Spirit's intense and high-octane action plot, which didn't sit well with Sandeep, who lashed out over it. Taking to his X handle, he didn't take names but hinted that someone leaked his story which netizens took as an allegation to Deepika. A part of his post read:

"When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA(Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are...Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story?"
