Diljit Dosanjh enjoys massive stardom, and will soon begin his Dil-Luminati Tour across cities in India. Fans have eagerly awaited it, and its tickets are immediately sold out. Due to the high demand, the tickets have become expensive, up to Rs. 15K to 25K. A few netizens and influencers are unhappy about it. One such influencer, Saumya Sahni, took to her Instagram handle and requested Indian artists and Diljit to consider the country's economic conditions while deciding the prices. In her words:
"Ek Indian artiste ka koi haq nahi banta ki woh 20-25 hazar rupaye ek concert ke charge kare jab woh six cities play kar rahe hai. Woh teen sets play kar sakte hai. Kyunki aapke core audience ke paas paisa nahi hai, employment nahi hai, ek bohut hi limited means of entertainment hai. Bohot hi kam artistes hai joh iss desh ke liye, unki language mein perform kar pate hain. Aur uske baad ek middle-class insaan ka koi access nahi hai us artiste tak."
On the work front, Diljit was last seen in the film, Amar Singh Chamkila, playing the titular character co-starring Parineeti Chopra. He is touring Europe and will begin his Dil-Luminati concert in India on October 26, 2024.
