Dimple Kapadia has done it all, from commercial hits to intense, critically acclaimed roles in films like Rudaali and Dil Chahta Hai. She even went global with her role in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet! What makes her stand out, though, is her no-nonsense attitude. She’s always been unapologetically herself, both on and off-screen. Her candid personality was reflected once again in a recent video that surfaced on social media.
Dimple Kapadia is all set for her latest release, Go Noni Go. The movie will see Dimple in the lead role alongside Ayesha Raza, Athiya Shetty and Manav Kaul. This delightful rom-com had its grand premiere on October 23, 2024, on Day 5 of the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. Dimple Kapadia and many other A-listers of Bollywood, including Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh attended the festival.
Dimple Kapadia was seen in a candid mood in a video clip from MAMI shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram. As she stepped out of the event, photographers asked her to pose with her daughter, Twinkle Khanna. When the paparazzi requested the mother-daughter duo to pose together, Dimple quipped, “I don't pose with juniors, only seniors”. The caption of the video said:
“Dimple Kapadia when she was asked to pose with Twinkle Khanna ‘I don't pose with Juniors, Only Seniors,’ says Dimple Kapadia.”

Go Noni Go, starring Dimple Kapadia, is produced by her daughter, Twinkle Khanna and co-produced by Applause Entertainment. The film features the iconic Dimple Kapadia in the role of ‘Noni Appa’, a woman in her late 50s who rekindles her love interest upon meeting a yoga instructor. The concept is based on the endearing short tale, Salaam Noni Appa by Twinkle Khanna, which first surfaced in her best-selling book.
