One of the hit shows in Indian television, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan holds a special place in the hearts of many to date. While the mythological characters are uniquely special to the hearts of every audience, it is more so because of the actors who portrayed them with all their heart and soul. Dipika Chikhlia has been one of them who gave her everything in portraying the iconic character of ‘Sita’ in the show, to the extent that often in her real lifeshe was worshipped like the goddess, Sita only. In her personal life however, she is married to Hemant Topiwala, the owner of the famous Shingar Bindi and Tips and Toes Cosmetics.
In comparison to her illustrious professional career, Dipika has always kept her personal life hidden from the public glare, until she shared it herself on her social media handle. While fast forward to this day, she is quite an active social media user, she had once shared an unseen picture from her Europe honeymoon with hubby, Hemant Topiwala. The then-newly wedded couple looked happy and radiant as they posed mushily against the backdrop of the snow-clad Alps in Switzerland. Along with the picture, Dipika shared the unknown backstory from the same and mentioned:
“This is a picture from my holiday after the wedding (honeymoon), we had taken a trip to Switzerland... He had asked me were for you want to travel after the wedding, I did not take even a minute to tell him... it’s Switzerland. I always thought and felt it’s land of dreams coming true ...I knew I wanted snow.”

Finally, through a family friend we met up on 28th April, 1991 and it so happened that we spend 2hrs chatting up and instantly made up our minds and both of us went back home and announced we found our life partner ...we did a small ceremony on my birthday 29th April (goldhana or roka) later the same year we got married.
