Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim met each other back in 2011 on the set of Saural Simar Ka. The couple's on-screen chemistry left everyone in awe. Well, back then, Dipika was already married to Raunak Mehta. Dipika married Raunak in 2011, and in 2015, they parted ways. During that tough time, Shoaib backed Dipika and stood like a strong pillar beside her.

First, they had planned to have a huge wedding, but later, they shifted their plans to have an intimate soiree. Following the same, in a vlog back in that time, Shoaib shared that his wife suffered a miscarriage in 2022. The actor revealed that when Dipika was six weeks pregnant, then she suffered the loss and it took a toll on her. Dipika also revealed being scared because of her previous experience. Well, the couple fought through it, and back in June 2023, they announced the arrival of their baby boy, Ruhaan. Cut to now, the little one is about to turn two years old within a few months.

Dipika, on the other hand, also revealed how it had hurt her when she was getting non-stop questions about leaving her first daughter, even at such a moment, when she was living a happy life with her firstborn after a traumatic experience of miscarriage.

It was in his last vlog, when Shoaib Ibrahim gifted his mother-in-law and Dipika's mom a home. In the vlog, the actress shared that her husband brought that home for her mom. On the other hand, Shoaib revealed that he wanted to give Dipika's mom a sense of privacy, who was staying with them and was helping them to raise Ruhaan. The video featured the actor giving the papers to Dipika's mom, who was left emotional.
