Dipika Kakar Celebrates A Low-Key Birthday Of Son Ruhaan, Pens 'Meri Har Dua Tere Liye Mere Bache..'

Dipika Kakar has been through a lot in the past few months. First, she had to quit the reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, due to her intense shoulder pain. Later, the actress was diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized liver tumour, and further tests revealed that it was cancerous. Dipika got her tumour treated after a long surgery at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. Now, she is home, and recently, celebrated her son, Ruhaan's second birthday.

Dipika Kakar penned a sweet wish for her little boy

Dipika and Shoaib decided to celebrate a low-key birthday for their son, Ruhaan. However, they wanted their son's second birthday to be a grand one, but due to the recent circumstances, they chose to be at home. However, to make the day special, Shoaib and Dipika decided to get some decorations done. Taking to her Instagram handle, Dipika penned a heartfelt note for her little boy and prayed for his good health. She wrote:

"Before the days ends ….. heres wishing my Strong bacha a Very Happy Birthday… Meri har dua tere liye mere bache … Allah hamesha khush rakhe hamesha Salamat rakhe… Mumma loves u … And my Ruhaan is mumma ki… Jaannnnnn."

When Dipika Kakar talked about weaning off her son, Ruhaan, in one night

Earlier, in her vlog, Dipika talked about her tumour diagnosis, and the most difficult thing she had been through was weaning off her son, Ruhaan, in one night. It was an emotional and physical struggle. After which, she got unwell. She was quoted as saying:

"The most difficult thing in this month has been weaning off Ruhaan in one night. Mere paas option hi nahi tha, I had to do it and main bahut royi uss din raat mein because of course wean off hona tha hi tha, Ruhaan do saal ka ho gaya lekin iss tarah se hoga yeh nahi socha tha.”

Earlier, Shoaib shared that after they announced her tumour surgery, she started the weaning-off phase so that Ruhaan could get accustomed to the new change. However, Dipika fell severely as she started having pain, due to which she got a viral infection, which quickly turned into the flu. He said:

"Dipika ne suddenly Ruhaan ko weaning karna shuru kra, dudh dena band kra. And usi waqt se ekdum usko pain shuru hogya, gathane ban jana, pain itna jada hogya ki, us wajah se fever aaya, or vo kab fever flu mein convert hogya. Bahut jada uski halat kharab hogayi thi. Pain bahut jada hogya tha."

Shoaib revealed that they did their best to lower her fever, which wasn't coming down. After which, he admitted her to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital. After which, she was getting treatment for the flu. So, they were unable to do her further test scan. However, she is feeling better now. 

Shoaib further revealed that Ruhaan has been extremely cooperative. However, they were worried about their son, Ruhaan, who was still breastfeeding on Dipika. But he only cried once and didn't bug them. In fact, he lets Dipika rest and totally understands her situation. He added that he would try to keep his fans updated as and when he could.
