Dipika Kakar Is Back To Work After C-Section Delivery, Announces The Launch Of Her Own Clothing Line

Dipika Kakar, who delivered her first child in July 2023, is all set and ready to get back to work. Dipika gained immense popularity with her character 'Simar' in the hit show Sasural Simar ka, where she fell in love with her co-star, Shoaib Ibrahim. Currently, Dipika has taken a break from the acting world to take care of her home and her little one. Recently, Dipika announced her new business plan.

Dipika Kakar ventures into a clothing line

After making a huge name in the world of glam and glitz, Dipika took a step back from acting and even announced that she wanted to focus on her role as a housewife. Later, Dipika clarified that she would return on television when the time would be right. While fans were awaiting her return, the actress announced she was soon going to launch her clothing line. 

In her latest YouTube vlog, Dipika revealed to her fans that she would be venturing into fashion and will be launching her clothing line, which will focus on women's apparel. The actress added that she has been working hard to draft a plan for the same. Dipika and Shoaib further clarified that the clothing line will have a limited stock and will be available online. 

In the same vlog, Dipika announced her excitement and nervousness. Her husband, Shoaib, is in full support of her and is trying his best to contribute to Dipika's new business. The actress also revealed that she has limited time as she needs to take care of her baby. While fans are missing Dipika in shows, the news about her new venture has sparked excitement among them. 

Dipika Kakar earlier launched a fashion label with her nanad, Saba Ibrahim

This is not the first time Dipika has started her own fashion label. Earlier, in 2017, before marrying Shoaib Ibrahim, she launched a fashion label with her nanad, Saba. The label was named after the actress' mother-in-law, Sitara, who inspired the business. In an earlier interview with TOI, Dipika shared that it was her sister-in-law's idea to become a stylist. She was quoted as saying:

"The fashion line is named after our Ammi's name and she is the inspiration behind my clothing line. My sister-in-law was the one who gave me the idea to turn into a stylist. She told me since I have a very different and elegant style, I can venture into having a clothing line for girls who can wear the type of clothes you do. I am enjoying playing with fabrics, colours, etc."

Dipika Kakar's life so far

Dipika Kakar fell in love with Shoaib Ibrahim while shooting for the show, Sasural Simar Ka. After dating for a couple of years, they got married in 2018 in Shoaib's hometown, Maudha, in UP. In 2023, Shoaib and Dipika welcomed their first child and named him Ruhaan. It is worth mentioning that Dipika even changed her religion and converted to Islam after marriage.
