Dipika Kakar Remembers Staying In PG, 1 BHK Without Bed With 'Mumma', 'Mushkil Hota Tha..'

Dipika Kakar and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim recently got a house for Dipika's mom that marked an important milestone in their life. The actress who reportedly quit Celebrity MasterChef made her first vlog video with her mumma after returning home. Dipika noted her early days in Mumbai and shared how her life has now turned for the better.

Dipika Kakar reminisces about staying in PG with her mother

Dipika has always been a caring daughter, wife and mother. The actress, in her latest vlog video, revealed the days of struggle she had to face in Mumbai. She shared that she was staying in a PG and even in a one-bedroom home that did not have a bed. Her mother used to come to help her. Dipika spoke in her latest vlog video that showed her mom making custard at her own home. Reflecting on the past, Dipika shared:

"Kaha mumma aur mei saath mei PG mei rahe hai shuruwat se. Mere liye rehna mushkil hota tha toh mumma aake rahi hai mere saath. Kafi samay tak PG  mei bhi rahi hai. Phir jab maine 1 bhk mei shift kia tha mummy kafi samay aake rahi thi. Na koi bed lekin khwahish thi ki apna khudka ghar hona chahiye."

Dipika Kakar's mom reacts on the struggles of the actress and on getting her own home

Dipika shared that she could purchase a house for her mother as it was the blessing of the almighty. Her mom also said that Dipika thought about her parents and that for any woman having her own house was very important. Dipika's mother shared that at her age having her own home was essential. In her words:

"No matter what happens, having a home is essential. The fact that our kids thought of giving me this means so much. I am very happy to have a roof of my own."

When Shoaib Ibrahim revealed he and Dipika Kakar buying a home for her mom

In his vlog earlier, Shoaib revealed that he had purchased the same house in which his ammi, that is, Dipika's mom, was staying on rent. He also shared that both his and Dipika's families are set in the same building, and they do not have any plans to shift as they enjoy a joint family setting. Shoaib also mentioned that his son, Ruhaan likes to play and enjoy with all his grandparents. In his words:

"We want to share a happy news that I bought the house in which Ammi used to stay on rent. We have now purchased it for Dipika’s mom. All of us are set in this building and we don’t plan to leave this building anymore. Though we aren’t living in the same house as a joint family, we feel like we are. It is good for Ruhaan as well, as he gets everyone’s attention. He goes to play with dadi, nani, dadu all the time.”

Dipika Kakar quit Celebrity MasterChef?

Dipika Kakar, who was a part of the cooking reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, has reportedly exited the show because of arm pain which got triggered due to an old injury. The doctor advised her to keep her arm still and not do any physical work as the pain was happening due to over-physical exertion of the arm.
