Dipika Kakar Shares FIRST Note After Tumour Diagnosis, Reveals, 'It Is Second Stage Cancerous..'

Dipika Kakar and the entire Ibrahim family have been in shock ever since she was diagnosed with a tennis ball-sized tumour in her liver. A while ago, Shoaib Ibrahim revealed Dipika, who was breast-feeding their son, Ruhaan, fell severely ill during the weaning-off phase. The actress was hospitalised due to it, and while she is back, she has been preparing for her surgery, which is said to be scheduled this week. Now, Dipika shared their first post as she talked more about her tumour and how they found out it is second-stage cancer.

Dipika Kakar talked about her tumour diagnosis and finding out about it being a second-stage cancer

On May 27, 2025, Dipika took to her Instagram handle and shared her first post, as she shared details about her tumour diagnosis in a picture note. The actress revealed that her life was turned upside down when she went to the hospital for pain in her stomach and found out about her tennis ball-sized tumour, and now, recent tests have discovered that it is second-stage malignant (cancerous). The post can be read as:

"As you all are well aware last few weeks have been quite difficult for us. Walking into the hospital for pain in the upper area of my stomach, and then finding out its a tennis ball-sized tumour in the liver and then finding out that the tumour is the second stage Malignant (cancerous). It has been one of the most difficult times, we have seen, experienced."

Dipika further mentioned that she is all positive and determined to face this challenge head-on as her entire family is by her side. She also acknowledged her fans' prayers and wishes pouring in for her, and she knew that she would sail through it. Along with it, Dipika wrote:

"Keep me in your prayers."

As soon as Dipika shared the post, her Sasural Simar Ka fame co-actress, Avika Gor wrote, "Praying for your speedy recovery di." Rajiv Aditia, who worked with her on the reality show, Celebrity MasterChef, commented, "Always with you Dipika!!! You are strong girl and fighter! You will be fine! Sending you so much love and strength!" Followed by prayers of her fans. 

When Shoaib Ibrahim gave a health update about Dipika Kakar's high fever and surgery

On May 23, 2025, Shoaib took to his Instagram stories and shared an update about his wife, Dipika, as their fanbase has been praying for her speedy recovery. Sharing a note, Shoaib revealed that Dipika's fever is under control, and she is back home. He added that Dipika's surgery has been scheduled for the next week. He wrote:

"To update you all about Dipika's health. Her fever is under control and she is back home. Mostly her surgery is scheduled for the next week if all goes as planned. Please keep her in your prayers."

Further, Shoaib also talked about his sister, Saba, being blessed with a baby boy. He asked his huge fanbase to pray for the new member of their family and Saba's good health. He concluded:

"As you all are aware Saba and Khalid are blessed with a baby boy. Please shower the newborn baby and Saba with all your blessings."
