Dipika Kakkar Cooks 'Daal Bati Churma' For Hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim And Family On Jummah Amid Lockdown

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim were applauded a lot for their on-screen chemistry on the show, Sasural Simar Ka. Little did they know that their love on the television show will soon find its way in their real-life as well. While working together on the popular soap, Dipika and Shoaib had started feeling something for each other and had decided to go on forever. After dating each other for a while, the two decided to have a nikaah ceremony and got tied in the nuptial knot on February 27, 2018. Since then, we have been witnessing their PDAs through the help of their respective Instagram handles. Well, as for now, the whole country is fighting against the pandemic, COVID-19 a.k.a. coronavirus, along with the entire globe. The situation is getting worse and worse with each day and having a look at the statistics is only making us feel like it’s the end of the world. However, everyone is trying their best to cope-up with this depressing time. While some celebrities are sharing workout, cooking, dancing, and house-cleaning videos on their Instagram handle. There are also some people and celebrities, who are doing nothing and just spending time with their families. Well, most of the people in this category are celebrities, who don’t get enough time with their families and children. No wonder, this lockdown is a kind of blessing in disguise for them. Recently, the television actress, Dipika cooked some delicacies for her family and hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim on jummah.

On March 27, 2020, Dipika took to her Instagram stories and posted two boomerangs while cooking daal baati churma for her hubby, Shoaib Ibrahim and her family. In her first story, we can see her preparing the ingredients for the final dish, as she wrote a caption on top of her boomerang that can be read as “Any guesses what’s cooking today.” In the second one, the actress revealed that it is none other than the famous delicious dish, daal baati churma. Having a look at it makes our mouth look like a water tanker. Well, Dipika’s sister-in-law, Saba Ibrahim posted a family picture of the same and thanked her Bhabi for the delicious treat in her short caption along with the family picture that can be read as “Daal bati churma, Thank you for the treat bhabhi @ms.dipika #Alhamdulillah #jummahmubarak #stayhome.” Have a look! Last year, Shoaib and Dipika had a light-hearted conversation with the Indian Express, where they had talked about their relationship. When they were asked as to what they love, hate and tolerate about each other, Dipika had replied, “I love about him is the way he carries his relationships be it with his family, with his friends, you know. He just takes them together and walks ahead. So, that is what I love about him Adding further, she said, “What I hate about him is not something that I would like to discuss about openly. And what I tolerate about him is his phone. Kabhi mujhe mauka mile na to main ise dustbin mein daal ke aa jaungi. I tolerate this about him”.

When the same question was asked to Shoaib, he was quoted as saying, “Love, puri. Hate kya bolu, ye jab b mujhe irritate karti hai na tab. Kbahi kabhi mera man hota hai Dipika nahi yar. Tolerate ka iska aisa kuch bhi nai hai. Ye kabhi koi aisi cheez nai karti hai. Lekin haan kabhi kabhi iska gussa. Thora sa”. Dipika interrupted and said, “Ab to nai hoga.
