Dipika-Shoaib Trolled For Promoting 'New Vlog' Amid Pahalgam Attack, Netizens Say, 'Insensitive'

The Pahalgam terrorist attack has left the nation in shock and grief. It all began when a group of tourists who visited the valley were attacked by a few gunmen who opened fire on them. They were targeted based on religion by terrorists, killing 28 people and leaving the state and others in shock. Popular TV actors, Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar have visited and Kashmir in past few days. Consequently, fans were concerned about them as well. However, the duo soon updated fans about their well-being. But, one part of the update has sparked widespread anger among the netizens who have quickly called out the couple. 

Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim teased about their upcoming vlog amid Pahalgam attack 

Just two days before the Pahalgam terror attack, Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim had shared a video from the beautiful place which has now been left vacant. They shared several reels, videos, and pictures from the picturesque hills with their son, Ruhaan. So, after the news about Pahalgam attack made headlines, fans sent several messages to them. Soon, the couple responded to the worried messages of fans by sharing their update. 

The actor expressed his gratitude to all the fans who sent good wishes for him and his family's well-being. He added that they were safe and left Kashmir on the morning of April 22, 2025, when the attack took place. Moreover, they are in Delhi and would soon leave for Mumbai. However, at the end of the update, he mentioned that their new vlog would come soon, which left the netizens fuming.

Netizens were relieved when the star couple updated about their well-being. But they were soon trolled for being tone-deaf towards the heinous attack by promoting their upcoming vlog in the same message. One netizen wrote, "Marketing at a time like this is sickening. Totally out of touch." Another user penned, "People have died, and he put up a story saying nee vlog is coming!!! Yrr isko koi border ke uss paar dhakel do.” One user addressed the hate towards Shoaib and Dipika, writing: 

"Now I understand the hate against this man! Since I don't follow the couple, I always thought that people would unnecessarily troll or hate every other celebrity, but now I get it. They deserve hate for insensitivity. Posting a message regarding his well-being was fine, but mentioning a vlog is another level of foolishness."

More about Dipika Kakar 

Dipika Kakar made her TV debut with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi in 2010 and became a household name with her show, Sasural Simar Ka in 2011. She also participated in Bigg Boss 12 and won the show. Later, the actress showcased her dancing skills in Nach Baliye 8 and was seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. On the other hand, Shoaib made his TV debut with Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein in 2009 and starred in shows like Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Jeet Gayi Toh Piya Morey, Ishq Mein Marjawan and more. The couple worked together in Sasural Simar Ka, where they bonded and later tied the knot in 2018. Dipika and Shoaib welcomed their first child, a son, in 2023.
