The critically acclaimed filmmaker, Atlee Kumar is leading all the headlines since the release of Jawan’s trailer on the internet. The trailer was released on August 31, 2023, just seven days before the film’s release in theatres. From Shah Rukh Khan proving the mettle of his range as an actor to Vijay Sethupathi’s another bone-chilling villainous performance, the expectations have hit a notch higher after the release of the film’s trailer.
At the pre-release event of the film, Jawan, the film’s director, Atlee Kumar talked about many things. The director lauded the stellar star cast of his film, which includes the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupati, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and more. However, when he revealed King Khan’s reaction to his pregnancy statement, it received the loudest cheer and also made Atlee’s wife, Krishna Priya emotional.

In a viral video from the pre-release event, the filmmaker, Atlee Kumar can be seen talking about the things Shah Rukh Khan told him when he informed the actor about his wife’s pregnancy. The filmmaker shared that the Bollywood superstar congratulated him and told him not to be worried about their film, Jawan’s shooting. Atlee added that Shah Rukh also advised him to spend as much time as possible with his wife, Krishna Priya. While the director was narrating the incident, it was his wife, who got teary-eyed. The video of the same is doing rounds on the internet.
It was on December 16, 2022, when Atlee Kumar and his wife, Krishna Priya announced their first pregnancy after 8 years of their happy married life. While the first picture was a silhouette and gave a clear glimpse of her baby bump, the second photo was a perfect family portrait with their furball sitting with them, and the third was a beautiful sketch of the cute clan. Atop the family sketch, a note could be read as:
"Happy to be sharing that our family is growing. Yes! We are pregnant. Need all your blessings and prayers throughout this wonderful journey of ours. With love, Atlee, Priya and Becky."

On January 31, 2023, Atlee Kumar and Krishna Priya welcomed a baby boy into their lives. It was on May 7, 2023, when they took to their respective Instagram handles and posted an adorable picture from their visit to a temple. In the picture, the newbie parents looked super cute, but their little munchkin stole the limelight. Although his face was covered, but his tiny hands were enough to melt everyone’s hearts. Along with the picture, Atlee and Krishna announced the name of their baby boy, and it could be read as:
"Yes the name is MEER Very happy to be revealing our little angels name."
