Rahul and Disha's love story began with a compliment from the latter on Instagram. Rahul reverted on her comment, the two started talking and soon exchanged numbers. When Rahul was shooting in Delhi for his single, Yaad Teri, in November 2018, he had met Disha for the first time.
Then amidst the friendship blossoming between the couple and the seed of love growing in their relationship, Rahul Vaidya participated in the fourteenth season of Bigg Boss. The show played a huge role in his relationship with Disha Parmar as he not only realised his feelings for her while locked inside the house, but he also proposed to her on national television. On Valentine's Day, Disha accepted Rahul's proposal inside the Bigg Boss house and after the show ended, the couple decided to take their relationship to the next level.

The day is finally here when Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar will become one forever and will be tied in the marital knot. Ahead of the most special moment of her life, Disha posted an IG story, giving a glimpse of how her morning looks like on her wedding day. Rahul and Disha's wedding song, Matthe Te Chamkan also released a few hours ago. Rahul and Disha looked resplendent as bride and groom for the cover of #TheDisHulWeddingSong.
The celebrations began for Disha Parmar when her bride tribe planned a bridal shower for the actress. Disha along with her friends, Vedika, Pooja and Ashna, danced to the song, Koi Mil Gaya from the film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Disha's bridal shower was all about dancing, enjoying and goofing around joyfully. Sharing the pictures, Disha thanked her bride tribe for the fun-filled bash and captioned it as "I love you girls!" Rahul commented on the post, "My Bride" followed by heart emoticons.

The pre-wedding functions began with the mehendi ceremony on July 14, 2021, and the happiness on the to-be married couple's faces were unmissable! For the mehendi ceremony, Disha a magenta cut-sleeves kurta with gold sequinned work paired with a contrasting mint-green sharara. Rahul complemented Disha in a matching mint green kurta pyjama. Sharing a glimpse of their filmy and romantic moment at the mehendi function, Rahul wrote, "Mehendi laga ke rakhna @dishaparmar .. lene tujhe o gori aa gaye hain tere sajna!"
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Disha Parmar spoke about her excitement to start a life with Rahul Vaidya and her feelings about becoming a bride. Disha was quoted as saying, "You know I am actually looking forward to that whole day, because waking up on that day, getting dressed, being there at the mandap, to do the vidhis, and to just be a married couple - I think it's going to be unbelievably beautiful. I can't wait to start my life with him. I think it's going to be the best day of my life and nothing will beat this."
