Taking to her IG handle on March 1, 2024, Divya Agarwal dropped a special glimpse featuring candid moments from her chooda ceremony. The clip begins with the then bride-to-be turning emotional before the ritual, as she terribly missed her father. Wiping her tears, Divya gave a tight hug to her mom who consoled her like no other. Moving forward in the clip, the actress was blindfolded for the ceremony, since according to Hindu customs, the bride cannot see the chooda for quite some time before the wedding. For the ritual, Divya donned a baby pink-hued tulle lehenga, that featured floral prints and mirror work all over it.

Moving further in the clip, Divya could be seen flaunting her chooda hidden in its cover, along with a pair of dazzling golden kaleeras. She was then spotted shaking her kaleeras over the heads of her bridesmaids, as a part of the ritual. For the unversed, brides-to-be indulge in this fun activity of shaking their kaleeras over the heads of their friends and bridesmaids. If rituals are to be believed, if a piece of the kaleera falls on some other lady’s head, it signifies that the latter would be the next one to get married. Along with the video, Divya penned a heartfelt caption, that aptly expressed her feelings for the day. She penned:
“An emotional day... Thank you Papa, for being there with me at every step. Rab Rakha.”
Earlier, on February 26, 2024, Divya Agarwal shared a bunch of snapshots from her haldi ceremony. Ditching the normalised tradition of wearing yellow, the actress instead chose to boast a chic vibe in a royal blue-hued dress. However, the star element of all her pictures was definitely the unique ‘Lays’ chips theme on which the entire decor was based on.
While many brides choose to go extravagant with their wedding day, Divya Agarwal chose to go against the flow and opted for an extremely low-key and intimate celebration for her wedding. The entire event was arranged at the balcony of her home, and they exchanged the varmala right during the sunset. Talking more about it, Divya, in an interaction with ETimes, said:
“The ceremony was intimate and we were surrounded by our dear ones with a breathtaking sunset as the backdrop. It was beautiful, exactly how we wanted our wedding to be.”

Back on February 20, 2024, Divya Agarwal set internet ablaze by dropping the much-awaited pictures of her wedding with Apurva Padgaonkar. The duo stood out in terms of their unique wedding ensembles, and twinned in hues of purple. While Divya got decked up in an ombre lehenga, Apurva, on the other hand, wore a matching-hued sherwani-pyjama teamed with a mauve doshala.
