Divya Khossla Kumar is one of the most popular producers and actors in Bollywood. She often grabs headlines for her stellar performances and gorgeous looks. However, she is also known significantly for her personal life, as the diva is married to Bhushan Kumar, who is also the Managing Director of the popular music label, T-Series. While the couple has always kept their personal life low-key, it seems that this time, it has grabbed attention for some curious reasons.
Taking to the discussion portal, Reddit, an internet user shared a screengrab of Divya Khossla’s IG handle, wherein the diva’s name didn’t have the surname, Kumar added to it. According to the internet user’s claims, the actress has seemingly dropped her husband’s surname from her name, which earlier used to appear as Divya Khossla Kumar. Moreover, it was even claimed that Divya even unfollowed her husband, Bhushan Kumar’s maiden music label, T-Series on her social media. The post shared on Reddit was captioned as:
“Why is divya Khossla no longer Divya Khossla Kumar? Are Bhusan Kumar and Divya getting a divorce?

As soon as the speculative post was dropped on Reddit, eagle-eyed netizens took note of the same and started to express their views on the matter. Well, apart from a few section of netizens who mocked the actress, some others hinted at the probability of the couple actually parting ways. Moreover, one of the netizens even reiterated a blind article, which claimed that Bhushan Kumar cheated on Divya, as a result of which the couple resided separately. While one netizen commented, “Then who'll spend crores on her films and music videos?”, another internet user wrote, “There was a blind last year about about a music mogul caught cheating by his wife red handed and how the wife walked out and has moved into the Westin for long stay.”
Back in 2018, Bhushan Kumar grabbed headlines when an anonymous internet user claimed to have faced sexual misconduct in the hands of Bhushan Kumar. The unidentified woman publicly levied accusations against the music giant in the wake of the ‘Me Too’ movement, and as a result, within no time, Bhushan faced a lot of backlash. However, it was his wife, Divya, who came out in support of him and dismissed all such rumours as baseless and malicious. Offering a public statement, Divya had stated:
“My husband has got TSeries where it is today purely on the basis of extreme hard work. People even stood up against Lord Krishna who’s praiseworthy. Though the #metoo movement is meant to clean up the society, it’s sad that some people have started misusing it. I have been with my husband hand in hand as he’s taken his father’s dream forward. He’s a man full of values and principles. It’s unfortunate that people put baseless allegations without having their facts and proofs in place.”

Previously, in one of her old interviews with News18, Divya Khossla opened up about her journey in the showbiz world as an actress. She beamed with pride as she claimed that it had all been her own hard work, and despite being the wife of such an eminent persona like Bhushan Kumar, she never sought his help to find work. In her words:
“I have never been dependent on my husband for work. When I made Yaariyan, he didn't even hear the script. When it became successful, he had the confidence that I could direct a film. He is very supportive of everything I do but we never interfere in each other's work, and I feel that partners should give that kind of space to each other.”
