Ever since Divya Khossla dropped her husband, Bhushan Kumar's surname from her Instagram bio, the actress started hitting the headlines. Many netizens began doubting that the couple hit a rough patch in their lives. Thus, speculations about their divorce soon began surfacing on the internet. But dismissing all such rumours, Bhushan's team announced the real reason behind Divya's decision to make a few changes to her name. For the unversed, Divya is one of the stunning actresses in Bollywood and also a popular producer, whereas Bhushan is the Managing Director of the music label, T-Series.
Now, as per a report in Zoom, Bhushan Kumar's team addressed the ongoing rumours about his alleged divorce from Divya Khossla after 19 years of marriage. The spokesperson said there is "No truth" to these fake stories about their separation and clarified the reason behind Divya's decision to make a few changes to her name. He/she mentioned that Divya did so due to astrological reasons. The actress also added another 'S' to her maiden surname. Elaborating more on it, Divya said:
"Divya Khossla's choice to drop her married surname, driven by astrological beliefs, is a personal decision and should be respected. The addition of an 's' to her maiden surname, symbolising her astrological belief, is for the same thought."

Recently, a Reddit user took to the discussion portal and shared a screenshot of Divya Khossla’s IG handle. In the picture, the diva’s name didn’t have her husband, Bhushan's surname added to it. For the unknown, the actress initially used to write her name in the IG bio as Divya Khosla Kumar. Sharing it, the internet user also claimed that Divya even unfollowed Bhushan's music label, T-Series on her social media. Sharing the post, the user wrote:
“Why is divya Khossla no longer Divya Khossla Kumar? Are Bhusan Kumar and Divya getting a divorce?
Thus, soon after the post was shared on Reddit, netizens rushed to the comment section to react to it. While a few netizens mocked the actress for the divorce, a few also referred to an old gossip piece claiming that Bhushan cheated on Divya, resulting in the couple's separation. One netizen wrote, “Then who'll spend crores on her films and music videos?” Another internet user commented, “There was a blind last year about about a music mogul caught cheating by his wife red handed and how the wife walked out and has moved into the Westin for long stay.”

Earlier, in 2018, Bhushan had hit the headlines when an internet user allegedly accused him for sexual misconduct. The woman publicly levied accusations against Bhushan during the then-ongoing ‘Me Too’ movement. Following this, Bhushan faced a lot of backlash for the same. However, his wife, Divya, came out in support of him. She had dismissed all such rumours by calling them baseless and malicious. Comparing him to 'Lord Krishna', Divya stated that Bhushan is a man of values and principles.
