The whole of Maharashtra is busy celebrating the festival and welcoming bappa into their homes with full dhol-nagada and the houses are decorated with lights and flowers. Our Tinseltown celebs are not behind in participating in the spirit of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Recently, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya had welcomed Ganpati ji at their house. The couple had celebrated the festival with their friends from the Tinseltown. On September 5, 2019, Divyanka had taken to her Instagram handle and shared pictures from the celebration with friends. Actors Vipul Roy, Meghna Naidu and others had joined Divyanka and Vivek in the festivities. Divyanka and Vivek had looked their best in the traditional attire. Divyanka was wearing an all-white suit and Vivek was seen wearing a green-coloured kurta and white-coloured pyjama. Now, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein fame, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and Vivek Dahiya seek blessings of Ganpati bappa at the latter’s home in Chandigarh. The duo recently flew to Chandigarh to celebrate the festival with the family. On September 11, 2019, Divyanka took to her Instagram handle and shared a picture from their celebrations. In the picture, Divyanka was accompanied by her husband, Vivek Dahiya and sister-in-law, Riya Dahiya. She has captioned the picture as “Ganpati ji at our family home”. In the picture, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was seen in her traditional best. She was wearing a bright yellow coloured suit and completed her look with heavy earrings. On the other hand, Vivek Dahiya opted for a casual look. He was wearing a white t-shirt along with denim and Vivek’s sister was donning a green coloured suit. On September 7, 2019, Divyanka and Vivek with heavy hearts had bid adieu to the lord Ganpati. The couple was twinning in white during the visarjan. Divyanka had taken to her Instagram handle and shared pictures and videos from the visarjan, where the couple could be seen dancing their hearts out. Divyanka had captioned the post as, “End the day...with #GanpatiVisarjanDance. In the video, Divyanka could be seen performing aarti and later, getting ready for the visarjan. After that, Divyanka was seen capturing Vivek doing a somersault in the Mumbai rains. The celebs welcome Gannu ji with full dhoom and dhamaal and also bid adieu to their favourite bappa with complete masti and nach-gaana, hoping for his return next year with same enthusiasm and excitement.
For this year’s Ganpati, Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya along with her husband, Vivek Dahiya had decided to celebrate the festival with little hatke andaaz. Recently, Divyanka and Vivek had spent some time with kids suffering from cancer at an NGO. Both Divyanka and Vivek had taken to their respective social media handles to share their experience and to spread cancer awareness amongst the children. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the duo was invited by an NGO- Access Life Assistance Foundation, to flag off International childhood cancer awareness month and to draw attention around diagnosis and treatment of cancer amongst children.
