Divyanka Tripathi is one of the most loved actresses in the telly world. Divyanka, who is popular for her role as ‘Dr. Ishita Bhalla’ in the show, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein paved her way into the audience’s hearts. However, the actress’ recent video didn’t go down well with netizens, and she became a victim of merciless trolling.
Recently, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.6 struck Afghanistan and rocked many parts of North India. Major tremors were felt in Pakistan, Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Divyanka, who was in Chandigarh at that moment took to her IG stories and posted her experience during the same. In the video, the actress looked happy as she was seen giggling during the tremors and called it ‘exciting’.

Divyanka’s video was later shared on Twitter, where the actress was slammed mercilessly for her insensitivity. While one user commented, “Earthquake ka asar madam ke dimag par hua hai.” Another wrote, “This is truly disgusting sorry but how one can found earthquake exciting and laughable, hadd hoti hai celebrity ho iska matlab yeh nahi ki publicity ke liye kuch bhi karo thodi se toh insaniyat honi chahiye sharm ki baat hai yeh hai.”

It was on the sets of their show, Yeh hai Mohabbatein, when Divyanka met Vivek Dahiya. Starting off as colleagues, they had gradually fallen in love with each other. The duo exchanged rings in 2016 and got married on July 8, 2016.
Divyanka and Vivek’s proposal story is quite adorable. On Divyanka’s birthday eve, Vivek decorated her home with lights and flower petals. With a T-shirt in his hand, on which, ‘You are an answer to every question’ was written on one side and ‘Divyanka marry me’ on the other, Vivek had made the proposal a cherishable memory for Divyanka. Vivek had also told Divyanka that she has everything one can gift except commitment, and he is ready to present her with that, making the moment an unforgettable one for her!
