Divyanka Tripathi is among the most popular names in the Indian television industry. The diva gained immense fame with her stint in Zee network's popular daily soap, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann. Later, her fame multiplied by manifolds when she essayed the character of 'Ishita Raman Bhalla' in the Star Plus' serial, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. However, Divyanka's journey in the entertainment industry has not always been a bed of roses, the actress also had to face many hurdles to gain success.
There is no doubt that Divyanka Tripathi is a phenomenal actress, but bagging her first daily soap as a lead was a daunting task. Divyanka became a household name after her drama, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, gained success, but the actress recently revealed that during that time, many misguided her. Talking to News18 Showsha, Divyanka revealed that the director of the serial strained her relations with one of her co-star. Divyanka shared:

"In my first show, my character was supposed to have a confrontation with a co-actor onscreen. To make that scene appear authentic, the director actually drove a wedge between us so that we end up having a fight for real."

Divyanka explained that the director wanted the fight sequence between the actresses to look authentic, so he, in real, made them fight by creating a misunderstanding among them. After the scene was shot, the director came clean before them and divulged that he did that to make us do method acting. She added that, to date, her relationship with that particular co-star is strained as the duo never made amends. In Divyanka's words:
"He tried to create a misunderstanding between us. After the scene was filmed, he told us that it was his way of making us do method acting. My relationship with the co-actor remains strained to this day. It was a very twisted way of working. But people do these things."
Divyanka Tripathi is currently preparing for her upcoming web series, Adrishyam: The Invisible Heroes, slated to premiere on SonyLIV on April 11. In this series, she will be seen in a completely different light, portraying the character of a secret agent. This role marks a significant departure from her previous roles, as she will be performing stunts and engaging in fight scenes for the first time on screen. Reflecting on this new experience, Divyanka shared:
"I feel lucky that even at this age after working so much, I get to do so much. It's truly motivating. I'm glad that I went through that phase and learnt new things. If I didn't have Adrishyam to shoot for, I wouldn't have incorporated newer things in my fitness routine. I also want it to be empowering for other women who think they cannot do anything beyond their comfort zone."

On the personal front, Divyanka is married to the love of her life, Vivek Dahiya. The two tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in 2016 and have been enjoying their marital bliss ever since.
