'Do Deewane Seher Mein' Ending Explained, Do Roshni And Shashank Accept Themselves And Get Married?

Do Deewane Seher Mein, directed by Rahul Udyawar and starring Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi hit the theatres on February 20, 2026, and is grabbing a lot of attention on social media. The romantic film that explores the love story of 'Shashank' and 'Roshni' is making headlines for its unique and thought-provoking narrative. Plotline of Do Deewane Seher Mein

The romantic film opens with 'Shashank Sharma' (played by Siddhant Chaturvedi) and 'Roshni Srivastava' (played by Mrunal Thakur). Both of them are young, who seem normal; however, they struggle with inner insecurities. 'Shashank' is a marketing executive, who is very good at his job but cannot pronounce some words properly, especially words with 'Sh' sounds. On the other hand, 'Roshni' deals with an inferiority complex. She doubts her looks, especially because of the glasses she wears.

The narrative begins when 'Roshni' and 'Shashank' meet through an arranged marriage setup. Instantly, 'Shashank' falls for 'Roshni'; but she rejects him thinking she is not attractive enough. However, 'Shashank' does not give up easily. He tries his best to know the reason behind the rejection. He even reaches her workplace at times to talk to 'Roshni'.

Slowly and gradually, 'Roshni' realises that 'Shashank' genuinely likes her without judging her appearance. So, she opens up about her fears and 'Shashank' assures her that he will always love her. The two soon start dating each other, without telling their families. Everything seems to be going smoothly, until 'Shashank's' father forces him to meet another girl named 'Sonia' for an arranged marriage. 'Shashank' hesitantly agrees, but does not inform 'Roshni', thinking that she will understand.

Do ‘Roshni’ and ‘Shashank’ break up?

When 'Shashank' goes to meet 'Sonia', 'Roshni', by mistake notices them and instantly jumps to the conclusion that 'Shashank' has moved on in his life. Heartbroken 'Shashank' tries to explain himself, but 'Roshni' breaks up with him. Later, 'Roshni' comes across a social media reel of 'Shashank' from a holiday and starts missing him. She also realises that her connection with him can't be broken so soon. Eventually, they meet once again and talk honestly. They decide to give their love another chance. 

Do Deewane Seher Mein ending explained: Do ‘Roshni’ and ‘Shashank’ get married?

After re-starting their relationship, ‘Roshni’ and ‘Shashank’ are enjoying their time. However, it again takes an ugly turn when ‘Shashank’ suggests ‘Roshni’ to stop wearing her glasses. This hurts ‘Roshni’ a lot as it touches a sensitive side of her. Later, when she goes home, her sister, ‘Naina’ makes her realise that ‘Shashank’ is a good guy. She also reminds ‘Roshni’ of her past relationships. 

On the other hand, ‘Shashank’ decides to quit his job as he is asked to give a presentation. Meanwhile, as soon as ‘Roshni’ realises her love for ‘Shashank’ and how he was not trying to hurt her, she rushes to his office. Before confessing her love, she encourages him to do the presentation. Eventually, he agrees and gives a confident presentation. On the other hand, 'Roshni' also arrived at the office without her glasses. The ending of the film suggests that both 'Shashank' and 'Roshni' accepted themselves and their love. The film ends with the two getting married.
