Who is Doug Manson?

Doug Manson was reportedly born in San Diego and currently lives there. IMDb reported that Doug was in seven different states throughout his childhood, given that his mother had a job in the Navy. Speaking about his education, in 2019, Doug graduated from Boise State University, and during his college days, he used to be an anchor of his school's news program. He graduated with a degree in communications and broadcast journalism.

Doug is currently an EMT ocean lifeguard and works for Camp Pendleton in San Diego. Apart from that, Doug Manson is also a fitness instructor at F45. While working as a lifeguard, Doug also purused modelling and acting career. In 2023, Doug starred in Magnum P.I., and he is also a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton. According to his LinkedIn, he works as a talent brand specialist for Runway Waiters.

Doug Manson's journey in The Bachelorette and his bond with Taylor Frankie Paul

While season 22 of The Bachelorette has been cancelled, it was through Reality Steve's data that the viewers got spoilers. Reality Steve, who is considered a long-time insider of the Bachelor nation, revealed that Taylor gave her final rose to Doug Manson, leading him to win the show. It was also stated that Taylor and Dug got engaged. However, soon after the filming was wrapped, things between Doug and Taylor reportedly collapsed. As per the data, it was within one month that Taylor and Doug's relationship ended.

As per Steve, Doug made a decision to pay a visit to Taylor in Utah, but their relationship couldn't be carried forward due to her emotional connection to her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. Reportedly, Taylor was the one to end the relationship, which left Doug heartbroken. It was on March 14, 2026, when the duo was spotted, which was seemingly due to the filming purpose, as shared by The Sun, which was also hinted at the shoot's wrap. And within a few days, it was reported that the show had been cancelled.

The report came when a video of Dakota and Taylor made rounds, wherein they were seen involved in a fight. Dakota spoke to Us Weekly about the same and mentioned that people could have the idea about the upsetting situation, and it's unfortunate that he is used to all the baseless claims about him and their relationship, which he denies. Dakota said that he is focusing on his son, Ever's, safety now, and he hopes Taylor will do the same. Taylor too released a statement, wherein her spokesperson revealed that she has been going through silent mental and physical abuse as well as threats of retaliation for an extensive period, and is preparing to face the abuser.
