Celebrity drape artist Dolly Jain has received a lot of love and admiration for the work she has been doing. Yes, you guessed it right. She is the same popular drape artist behind the stunning wedding drapes of popular celebrities. Do you know, Dolly can drape a saree in just 18 seconds? Isn’t it shocking?
The celebrity drape artist, Dolly is quite active on social media, and she recently shared a video where Dolly talks about some enchanting wedding experiences from her life. In the show, Wedding Whispers by Dolly Jain, Dolly shared an interesting story on how she rescued a bride during an international wedding.

Elaborating on the same, Dolly revealed that the bride did not brief her anything about her look and had just sent a picture of hers and the lehenga she was supposed to wear at her wedding. Dolly reached the venue, where the bride got her makeup and hair done. When she looked at the bride, Dolly felt that the bride was tall, but the lehenga looked shorter. When Dolly asked the bride to get up, she was shocked as the bride was 5 foot 8 inches tall, and the lehenga was made for a bride who must be around 5 feet 4 inches.
Not just this, the groom was 6 feet 2 inches, and to match his height, the bride was supposed to wear 4 or 5-inch heels. As per Dolly, the lehenga the bride tried was different from the one sent to her. Looking at the situation, Dolly had to tell the bride that the lehenga was quite short. And when the bride measured the lehenga, it was till her ankle, maybe shorter than that.

Looking at the lehenga, the bride panicked. On the other hand, Dolly had to control the situation, and she assured the bride that she would fix the problem in the best possible way. The bride was a South Indian, and everybody around her wore kanjeevaram sarees. Without even mentioning the problem, Dolly went to the bride’s mother and asked her to show her all the sarees she had got with her.
Dolly noticed a gold Kanjeevaram saree and picked it up. With the bride’s mother’s saree, Dolly made small pleats and made a lehenga out of the Kanjeevaram saree. Dolly then slipped the actual lehenga on top of the saree. The Kanjeevaram saree covered the short part. It was nothing less than a miracle for the bride, whose wedding would have otherwise turned into a nightmare.

Dolly Jain is the go-to person for any celeb to drape sarees or lehengas. She has draped sarees and lehengas for almost all the celeb brides. But do you know, Dolly never liked wearing sarees! However, her mother-in-law’s decision never to let her wear anything other than a saree ignited her love for the ensemble.
