Dulquer Salmaan is one of the hottest hunks in the Malayalam film industry. Apart from Mollywood, he has also made a significant amount of contribution to other regional film industries, including Bollywood. Known for his exceptional acting talent, the actor has won over four Filmfare awards, as well as a Kerala State Award. For the unversed, Dulquer is the youngest son of superstar, Mammootty. In his personal life, Dulquer is happily married to his wife, Amal Sufiya and the duo is blessed with their daughter, Maryam. Currently, the actor is promoting his upcoming film, Guns And Gulabs.
In a recent interview with Ranveer Allahabadia, Dulquer recounted an awkward female fan encounter he witnessed in his life. For the unversed, the dashing hunk is known to be a favourite actor among his massive female fans, and even his small glimpse makes them go weak in their knees. Coming back to the bizarre fan encounter, Dulquer mentioned how an elderly lady squeezed him to the extent that it began to hurt him. Elaborating more, he mentioned:
“Again an older lady, I don’t know why… And it was very awkward and very bizarre. Like she squeezed and I was in pain. I don’t think it was that kind of a grab, I don’t know what…. and she was way older. I don’t know what it meant and I was on stage and a lot of people were standing there and I was like aunty please come and stand here. A lot of times, people don’t know where to keep their hands. Sometimes it is on your behind. But this was… in the pictures, I was trying to smile and I was wondering what is happening and I didn’t know how to get out of it.”

In one of his previous interactions with Bollywood Bubble, Dulquer Salmaan had opened up about his personal life. Speaking about his darling wifey, Amal Sufiya, the talented actor mentioned the former was five years junior to him in school. Moreover, he revealed that from the very beginning, he was sure about his relationship with Amal and thus kept on meeting her all the time in Chennai. In his words:
“She was five years my junior, which is again creepy. When I was in 12th, she was in 7th, she was like a child...For some weird reason, I kept seeing my wife Amal in Chennai. For two weeks, I kept bumping into her."
Apart from being the superb actor that he is, Dulquer happens to be a totally grounded person in real life, and has a deep sense of respect for the women in his life. Speaking along the same lines, in one of his earlier interviews with Masala.com, Dulquer highlighted that since his father and superstar, Mammootty had a busy schedule, he ended up being raised in a ladies-oriented household, as a result of which he has learnt the meaning of strength in his life. Moreover, he mentioned that with the addition of his wife, Amal and daughter, Maryam, he feels that the women in his life have always acted as the binding source for the household.

In the same interview, the actor heaped praises on his wife, Amal and hailed her as the biggest critic of his. He mentioned that his wife always like to keep things simple and straightforward for him, and does not sugarcoat it. In his words:
“My wife is the best critique because she has the right opinions on things and keeps it real, she does not sugarcoat things. I can always depend on her for that honesty. And even though my daughter Maryam is just five years older, there's this wonderful honesty about her.”
