As the contestants and partner pros push their limits ahead of Halloween Week, injuries have become unavoidable during intense rehearsals. One such incident occurred with Dancing With the Stars contestant Dylan Efron. Recently, he has suffered an expected late-night injury, leaving fans concerned. What happened to Dylan Efron?

The Traitors alum, Dylan Efron, took to his Instagram handle a whole back and revealed that he was rushed to the hospital on October 24, 2025, after he accidentally broke his nose during rehearsals. He shared a video from the emergency room. He explained that his professional dancing partner, Dani Karagach, had accidentally hit her nose while trying out a new move as they prepared for Halloween Week. Recalling the incident, he penned:

"I took an elbow right here, and it made a really loud crack."

But despite the painful incident, Dylan maintained his trademark humour in his caption and mentioned, "Broke my nose, but don't need it to dance." However, he took the opportunity to confirm the situation was not life-threatening and expressed gratitude to his pro partner, Dani Karagach and her husband and fellow pro, Pasha Pashkov. Dyalna also thanked her co-star, Danielle Fishel, for her support during the emergency. Fans immediately flooded the comments section with good wishes for his speedy recovery. 

Will Dylan Efron perform in DWTS after a nose injury? 

Dylan Efron's accident certainly left his fans worried. However, he reassured everyone that he was “all good" and ready to return to rehearsals and the dance floor. According to the latest update, he has planned a special performance in next week's Halloween Week episode. For reasonthis, he and Dani have planned to perform Can't Help Falling in Love (DARK). Matching the scary theme of the week, the song is a haunting rendition of the Elvis Presley classic by Tommee Profitt and Brooke. Confirming his return, Dylan penned:

 "We'll be back dancing tomorrow."

This is not the first time Dylan has captured hearts on the Dancing With the Stars stage. Last week, on Dedication Night, he performed a touching contemporary dance with his younger sister, Olivia Efron, and pro partner, Karagach. The trio danced to Rewrite the Stars from The Greatest Showman. The performance was also a nod to his brother, Zac Efron, who originally sang the hit in the film with Zendaya. The emotional performance received an impressive 36/40 from the judges.
