For the unversed, Ed reportedly had a lot of health issues, and he was fighting the same for many years. He was born with dwarfism condition and faced chronic health problems for many years.
Dwarfism changed Ed's life and career, and despite the same, he became one of the favourite Hollywood stars. Now, Ed's niece, Kayse, had not mentioned the cause of Ed's death on her Facebook post. Her heart was heavy when she wrote about her uncle's demise. A part of her Facebook post read:
"Ed Gale has taken his final bow and is now headlining in the afterlife. Ed hitched a ride to California when he was twenty years old, with $41 and a dream, and he never looked back. He lit up the silver screens in cult classic films like Howard the Duck and Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town, earning himself some serious street cred at every con he attended. Which he never stopped bragging about ever."
For years, Ed faced a lot of health issues as he also had chronic heart as well as lung problems that had become very severe. Reportedly, Ed's family shared that due to his chronic health issues, Gale did face many difficulties. It was on August 23, 1963, when Gale was born in Plainwell, Michigan, and then at the age of 20, he shifted to Los Angeles and had only US Dollar 41 along with a dream.
Ed had found a lot of good work in Hollywood. However, did you know that to essay the role of Howard in Howard The Duck, he had to spend 10 months inside the suit to only bring the Marvel character to life. Earlier, in an interview with OnlyMyHealth.com, Ed had shared:
“I was the only actor who played the role of Howard the Duck.”
After 1998, Ed had again come back for Child's Play 2 and Bride of Chucky. His role had made 'Chucky' an iconic horror character.
