Eknath Shinde is the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Apart from being a politician, he is a doting grandfather to his grandson, Rudransh Shinde. We have often seen Rudransh accompanying his grandfather at various outings, and it is often a treat to watch the two.
A few days back, Rudransh turned two, and the Shinde family left no stone unturned to celebrate the little munchkin’s birthday. As we scrolled through our social media, we got our hands on a unique birthday cake for Rudransh. The jungle safari-themed cake was in chocolate flavour. The multi-tiered cake featured many miniature animals stop it.

The revolving cake also had Rudransh’s name written in a unique manner with small chocolate cupcakes around it. With 2 written in the middle, we also spotted a train making rounds inside the safari. The white and blue-toned cake was quite unique and made the little boy’s day quite special.

Eknath Shinde’s son, Shrikant Shinde is a member of Shiv Sena and represents the Kalyan constituency of Maharashtra. Apart from being a politician, Shrikant is a qualified medical practitioner and an orthopaedic surgeon. Shrikant became the youngest Maratha Member of Parliament when he first got elected as a Member of Parliament in 2014 from the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency.

He won the elections for the second time in 2019 from the same constituency. Shrikant is married to Vrushali, and the duo are proud parents to a baby boy, whom they have named, Rudransh. Shrikant, Vrushai and Rudransh live with Eknath Shinde and his wife, Lata Shinde.
After reportedly getting solid backing from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Eknath Shinde successfully replaced the Shiv Sena leader, Uddhav Thackeray and was sworn in as the 20th Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Talking about his personal life, Eknath Shinde got married to Lata, and the couple was blessed with three kids, Dipesh, Shubhada and Shrikant.
Tragedy struck Eknath Shinde and Lata Shinde’s life when they lost their two kids forever. In 2000, Eknath and Lata's three children were enjoying their time in a lake near their father's native village when the boat capsized in the lake. The tragedy resulted in the deaths of Eknath and Lata's two kids, Dipesh (11-year-old) and Shubhada (7-year-old). Luckily, Shrikant managed to survive the accident. After undergoing several bouts of emotions, Eknath and Lata gathered the courage t start their life again. And now, with the arrival of Rudransh, Eknath and Lata have regained the happiness missing from their lives.
