Eko, a Malayalam mystery thriller starring Sandeep Pradeep has created a buzz ever since its release. For the unversed, directed by Dinjith Ayyathan, Eko was released on November 21, 2025. Eko is the third and final instalment of Babu Ramesh’s Animal Trilogy following Kishkindha Kaandam and Kerala Crime Files. The film is written and shot by Babu Ramesh. Plotline of Dinjith Ayyathan's directorial, Eko

The story of Eko revolves around an elderly woman named 'Mlaathi Chedathi' (played by Bianna Momin) and her trustworthy caretaker, 'Peeyos' (played by Sandeep Pradeep). The duo live in the misty hills of Kaattukunnu. Meanwhile, 'Mlaathi's' husband, 'Kuriyachan', an infamous dog breeder and fleeing criminal is being chased by the police officials. While the hunt is still on 'Mlaathi' and 'Peeyos' uncover some dark and hidden truths which is indeed shocking.

When Sandeep Prakash revealed how he prepared himself for his role in Eko

In a recent interview with OTT Play, Sandeep Prakash revealed how he prepared himself for his role in Eko. He mentioned that he became submissive after watching the performances of the other cast members. He called their performances both 'surprising' and 'exciting'. He was quoted as saying:

"I became submissive after seeing the performances of the other members of the cast, including Vineeth, Ashokan, and Narain, which inspired me to work much more. Observing how effortlessly each of them performed their roles was both surprising and exciting."

Alongside Sandeep Pradeep, the film also stars Vineeth, Narain, Binu Pappu and Biana Momin. It is worth mentioning that Biana and Sandeep became the joint showstopper of the film with their stellar performamces. Eko is produced by MRK Jhayaram under the banner Aaradyaa Studios.
