Ekta Kapoor Calls Ram Kapoor 'Unprofessional Actor..' After He Said 'Intimate Scene' Led To Low TRP

Ram Kapoor has been out and giving interviews and talking about his television journey. However, his revelation about shooting the first-ever intimate scene on television with Sakshi Tanwar left Ekta Kapoor extremely furious. But without taking a direct name, Ekta called out Ram, and it seemed like he hit the producer's wrong side.

Ekta Kapoor lashed out at Ram Kapoor with a cryptic note

Ekta Kapoor is known for her bebak personality, and she recently lashed out at Ram Kapoor for his statement in recent interviews. Taking to her IG handle, Ekta Kapoor called out Ram without mentioning him.

Ekta Kapoor stated that the unprofessional actor should not talk about her show. She further added that she is staying silent to keep her dignity, but it is just a matter of time that this false information is spreading. She wrote:

"Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories, can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence." 

Ram Kapoor claimed that Ekta Kapoor shot the intimate scene, which left their show's TRP down

In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Ram Kapoor shared his incident of shooting intimate scene with his Bade Acche Lagte Hain co-star, Sakshi Tanwar. He stated that Sakshi's father called him and said that they do not worry since they trust him. However, it was Ekta Kapoor, who had to face the consequences. He said:

"Sakshi’s father said the most amazing thing to me… I can never think of anything with my co-stars… Sakshi’s father called me and said ki ‘Ram, tu hai, toh sab theek hai.’ They trusted me… so we went ahead and did it… it took two nights… Ekta suffered the consequences later."

For the unversed, the significant scenes faced a lot of backlash in 2017. It was a strong move in the history of television, which avoided such bold scenes as it was not family-appropriate. Ekta Kapoor admitted that the bold move affected the show's ratings. After the lip-lock scene between Sakshi and Ram, the show's TRP dropped to 2.
