Ekta Kapoor hosted a grand bash for her son, Ravie's fifth birthday, and it was a star-studded celebration. For the unversed, Ekta is hailed as the television queen as she is known for giving super hit serials for over a decade. However, the actress always kept her personal life away from the media, but in 2019, things changed and Ekta shared her joy of embracing motherhood with the arrival of her baby boy via surrogacy.
On January 26, 2024, Ekta Kapoor hosted a grand bash for her son, Ravie Kapoor's fifth birthday, which was attended by several B-town celebrity kids. Ekta looked stunning in a black-hued floral co-ord set. In one of the rare pictures, Ekta was seen carrying her son in her arms, who looked at the paps. We also spotted Kareena Kapoor Khan's son, Jehangir, exiting the venue with his nannies.

We also spotted Shilpa Shetty Kundra's daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra, leaving the venue. The little girl looked adorable in a red-hued printed dress with white stockings. Karan Johar's twins, Yash and Rohi also arrived in style for Ravie's birthday.
For those who don't know, Ekta Kapoor has been waiting to take on the journey of motherhood for the past seven years and has tried various methods over the years, but nothing has worked. In one of her Instagram posts, she thanked her doctor, Nandita Palshetkar, who is an IVF specialist. She had expressed heartfelt gratitude to her doctor, who helped in the process after announcing the birth of her son.
In an interview with News 8, Ekta talked about her reaction when she got to know that the surrogate had conceived. She shared that it was on her birthday she was informed that the surrogate had conceived. She expressed how everything fell in place. She was quoted as saying:
"When I knew that the surrogate had conceived, and it was on June 7. On my birthday I got to know. I was a bit overwhelmed. I was like 'Okay this is happening. This is going to be a huge responsibility. I just wrote a show out which is going to be with an A-list Bollywood actress. It's called Mentalhood. It's about motherhood and every time we did the scripting about the Momzillas and the pressure you go through, the guilt you go through, tiger moms, helicopter moms, I was constantly feeling overwhelmed. But now I have realised that I have a lot of guilt even now."
