It was back in July 2025, that the couple had announced that they were going to be parents soon. Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson were first rumoured to be dating in March 2025, when Page Six reported that the former SNL comedian had someone new in his life who was unlike anyone he had dated before. For the uninitiated, Pete has garnered numerous headlines for his high-profile romances with some of the top celebrities. Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Margaret Qualley, and many more celebrities. However, Elsie is a model and an actress, but she isn't as high-profile as Pete's ex-girlfriends. Opening up about his much-talked-about dating life, Pete had once said to Page Six:

“It was pretty humiliating and upsetting, honestly. It’s embarrassing because you want people to write about your work. I was one of the youngest-ever cast members on SNL and all that got pushed to the side because of who I was dating."

A few days after reports were doing the rounds that Pete was dating a new girl, the comedian was seen getting cosy with Elsie Hewitt on a beach vacation. The PDA during the vacation pretty much confirmed their relationship status. However, they also made it Insta official after Elsie posted a photo of Pete in her Insta Story. Later, a source also confirmed to People that the two had been living together in New York and shared:

“They have been living together in New York for the past few months. They’re splitting their time between Pete’s house in upstate New York and a brownstone they recently started renting in Brooklyn. They’re so happy together and doing great.”

Four months into their relationship, Elsie Hewitt and Pete Davidson announced that they are expecting a baby 

After four months of dating, Elsie and Pete announced on their Instagram that they are expecting a child soon. The comedian, who has been candid about his relationship with his late father, expressed his elation about becoming a dad in many interviews after the announcement. In a chat with Entertainment Tonight, Pete shared:

“Well, I honestly couldn’t be more excited. As you know, it’s been my dream forever since I was a little kid. The baby’s mother is one of my favorite people to ever exist ever. She’s going to be a great mom and I’m just stoked. I hope to be a, you know, the dad I hoped that I would have.”

On August 29, 2025, Elsie and Pete shared glimpses of their beach vacation. Along with the beautiful azure waters of the beach, Elsie also showcased her baby bump in the photos. Although Elsie is active on social media and occasionally posts about her life, the model remains more private than Pete. Once the comedian had stated that he feels guilty that Elsie couldn't have an ideal pregnancy due to his life and shared on The Breakfast Club radio show:

"She's a very private person and she's the one doing all the work. She never made me feel this way or said anything, but I feel so guilty and horrible that I could not allow her to have the ideal pregnancy that almost every woman gets to have and enjoy."
