The 'king of rock and roll', Elvis Presley, had one of the most legendary love stories with his wife, Priscilla. The couple had a ten-year age gap, and Priscilla was even tagged as a 'child bride' because she fell in love with Elvis when she was just 14 years old and married him at the tender age of 21. Elvis was 32 then, and the couple were taking Hollywood by storm with their love.Â
Elvis and Priscilla had a daughter, Lisa, in 1968, a year after their marriage. The couple were together for six years, after which they parted ways due to their ever-increasing personal issues and insecurities. Recently a flim, Priscilla released in the west depicting the love story of Hollywood's 'it' couple.

On October 27, 2023, a film titled, Priscilla hit the silver screens, starring Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny in lead roles. The film depicts the devastating love story of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. After watching the film when it was in its initial stage, Elvis' daughter, Lisa had issues with it as it portrayed her father as someone who he is not. Lisa further added:
"My father only comes across as a predator and manipulative. As his daughter, I donât read this and see any of my father in this character. I donât read this and see my motherâs perspective of my father."
Lisa objected the release of the film even when her mother, Priscilla had no issues with the story. However, the filmmaker, Sofia Coppola assured Lisa that she will love the film after its final edit. Unfortunately, Lisa died in January, 2023 due to a heart attack and will never be able to see the complete film.Â

Elvis and Priscilla were married for six years, and only a year into their marriage, they had their first daughter, Lisa. After which, the couple had no other children. Priscilla revealed that Elvis did not want to have any more children as he could not even give time to Lisa. Priscilla further added:
"Elvis felt he had a very busy schedule, and he did have a bit of guilt that he wasn't around that much when Lisa was younger. With his scheduling and his touring, he just felt he wasn't around enough to give a lot of attention to having another child."
