Apart from these reasons, they often go viral for controversies. One such thing that brought these celebrities into the media limelight and had put their dignity at stake is the ‘slapping incident’.
There has often been news about actors and actresses, losing their temper with their co-stars, partners, media and even fans. And at the heat of the moment, they have also lost control and have slapped them. In some cases, these celebs have been slapped too. Here are a few B-Town’s reputed celebrities, who have gone viral for their embarrassing slapping incidents.

The item queen of Bollywood never fails to run into controversies. She often makes it to the headlines for her unfiltered and bold statements. Remember once Rakhi’s relationship with her boyfriend, Abhishek Awasthi was the talk of the town. The duo had even performed in the couple dancing show, Nach Baliya, however, later their relationship had taken a turn and they had broken up. Later on the occasion of Valentines Day, Abhishek had gone to Rakhi’s residence with a bunch of flowers and a teddy bear to reconcile with her.
He had also invited media persons to make his reunion public. But as he went down on his knees and apologised, Rakhi, got furious and slapped him. She had also asked the security person to throw him out of her sight.
The popular Punjabi singer, Mika Singh has a huge fan following. Being such a well-established singer, Mika often falls into trouble for his aggressive behaviour. Mika Singh was once booked for allegedly slapping a doctor at a live concert in south-west Delhi. After which a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint had been registered by Delhi Police against him.
The victim named Shrikant was an ophthalmologist who had been posted at the Ambedkar Hospital. He had claimed that he had suffered some internal injury in his left ear due to the assault. The video of the alleged incident had gone viral on the internet.
The gorgeous actress is known for her impactful acting and excellent dancing in Bollywood movies. We all are familiar with Gauahar’s fashion sense, which is on point. The actress aces her look, in every outfit that she wears. However, once she was slapped on the stage by a guy named Akil Malik from the audience for wearing a short dress during the shooting of a TV show.
Although, when Akil had got into trouble for his indecent act, he had claimed that he was paid to slap her and the incident was scripted. However, Gauahar had denied his statement and had said that it was baseless.

Salman Khan is amongst the most famous actors of B-town. While we all know that the actor is super friendly and jolly, he sometimes loses his cool when things go out of hand. As per the reports of the Hindustan Times, in 2009 Salman Khan was slapped by a random girl. The incident took place at a party held in Delhi where a rich businessman's daughter named Monika had allegedly barged into Salman Khan's private party and slapped him. Surprisingly, Salman Khan had kept a check on his temper even after being provoked by the girl, he stayed calm and asked his bodyguards to escort the girl away from the gathering.
Govinda is considered a mass entertainer and is well-known for his fine onscreen performances and dancing skills. But did you know he once lost his temper on the sets of his film, Money Hai Toh Honey Hai? It was in 2008 that the Bollywood star was caught on camera for slapping a fan named Santosh Rai, who had visited the sets of the movie, Money Hai to Honey Hai, to see Govinda’s performance. Later in an interview with the Times of India, Govinda had revealed that he had slapped the guy as he had tried to misbehave with female dancers on the sets of the film. Sadly, the actor had to pay Rs.5 lakhs as compensation to the victim.

Akshay Kumar is the Khiladi of Bollywood. The actor is known for his cool personality. He prefers staying away from controversies and leads a disciplined life. However, Akshay had once gained media attention for reportedly slapping Priyanka Chopra's secretary, Prakash Jaju. According to the report of Mid-day, Akshay Kumar, was then rumoured to be dating his co-star, Priyanka Chopra in real-life and he had thought that it was her secretary, Prakash Jaju, who was reportedly spreading the rumours and in the heat of the moment, Akshay had slapped Prakash.
Rishi Raj Kapoor was an Indian actor, film director and film producer who had worked in Hindi films. He was the father of the veteran actor, Ranbir Kapoor. Rishi Kapoor was known for his volatile temper. Talking about the same, the actor had once publically slapped a reporter and a photographer. In 2006, during Ganesh Chaturthi, the Kapoors had gone to immerse the family’s Ganesh idol.
When the media had asked the Kapoor family to pose and give bytes, Rishi had apparently lost his cool. He had pushed a senior TV channel reporter and had allegedly slapped two photographers. Rishi’s inappropriate action was caught on the camera and his pictures had made rounds on the media and internet.
Bollywood actor, Aditya Pancholi makes it to headlines every now and then. And even though he likes to stay away from gossip and controversies, he somehow lands into trouble and eventually makes his name involved in controversies. According to the reports of Mid-day, Aditya Pancholi was accused of slapping his co-star, Vije Bhatia. It was during the shooting of the film, Lakhon Hain Yahan Dilwale, that Aditya had slapped Vije Bhatia. Aditya had suddenly walked up to Vije and had slapped him. When the matter had seemed going out of hand, the director of the film intervened and had stopped Aditya Pancholi.
Zoya Afroz, is an Indian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder. While many stars become popular for their acting, it was not the same with Zoya. The actress had come into the limelight for a slapping incident. For the unversed, Zoya was in Himesh Reshammiya film, Xpose, along with the actress, Sonali Raut. However, they both didn't get along during the making of the film. Once, Zoya and Sonali had got into a catfight, during the promotions of the film and Zoya had lost her temper and had slapped Sonali. When things got ugly, Himesh Reshammiya had to intervene and had stopped the co-stars from fighting publically.
John Abraham has stolen the hearts of many girls with his good looks and charming personality. The actor is known for his calm demeanour and easy-going attitude. However, on September 29, 2016, after the trailer launch of his film, Force 2, John had lost his cool due to a mob of fans. Things had gotten ugly when the fans came running up to him and one of the fans had grabbed his arm and had pulled him for a selfie. John couldn’t keep calm and had ended up slapping the guy. He had even threatened the paparazzi present there with the consequences if they had tried to record the incident.
