After weeks of tension, clashes, and controversy, Big Brother UK fans finally witnessed the highly-awaited eviction of Caroline Monk. The fiery housemate, who had been at the center of multiple disputes and viewer backlash, was evicted in a dramatic double eviction with Nancy Nocerino on November 7, 2025. Although the man thought that she would finally have to answer for her ill doings from the show in the post-eviction interview, things did not go as planned. In turn, fans have flooded her social media with demands to have former host, Emma Willis back on the show. Here's why.

For those unaware, 'the Emma Willis treatment' refers to the former Big Brother host's reputation for conducting tough and nonsensical interviews. Emma, who was the main face of the show during its run on Channel 5 from 2013 to 2018, was known for holding every housemate accountable for their actions. Viewers admired her when she would cross-question contestants about crossing ethical or social lines. They believe that the present hosts, Aj Odudu and Will Best, who took over the role when the show moved to ITV2 in 2023, have failed to deliver the same level of touch during Caroline's interview. 

Several fans took to their social media and penned, "Caroline needed the Emma Willis treatment in this interview." Another user wrote, "When the world needed Emma Wills, she did not show up." Following the new demand, the hashtag #BBUK quickly began to trend online, with similar demands from fans who believed she would have called out Caroline in a much better way. 

Why are viewers happy with the exit of Caroline Monk's post-exit interview on Big Brother UK? 

The demand for accountability from Caroline Monk stems from her controversial stint inside the house. She got a formal warning earlier in the season for using 'offensive and unacceptable language' towards the transgender contestant, Zelah Glasson, after repeatedly misgendering her. Fans even called her out for using racial comments and refusing to eat halal meat and mocking Muslim housemate, Farida Khalifa, by throwing alcohol on her during a task. 

Moreover, her frequent clashes with fellow housemate Richard Storry, whom she called 'boring' and 'antichrist,' added fuel to the fire. Despite the massive uproar against her, Caroline had won a two-week immunity pass, infuriating fans who believe she escaped the consequences of her wrong behavior. At the end, when she walked out, there was a chorus of boos from the live audience, eager to see her held accountable for her actions. However, her post-exit interview on Big Brother: Late and Live was rather soft. Viewers felt that AJ Odudu and Will Best avoided touching upon her controversies directly

Unlike her evictee, Nancy, who bid farewell to the house with gratitude, Caroline's exit was defiant and chaotic. She was met with boos, and she laughed over it, flashing a rock-and-roll hand sign. When she saw a fan in the crowd supporting Richard, she immediately yelled back, calling him 'antichrist' before stomping off. Caroline's exit reflected her fiery, bold, and confrontational personality, which often left people divided on the show. 

Will Emma Willis ever return to host Big Brother UK? 

Meanwhile, Emma Willis had previously clarified that she would not return to host Big Brother when the show moved to ITV. She mentioned that she believed there should be a new host of the reality TV show in every new era. During another interview with Radio Times in 2022, Emma admitted that she enjoyed her time on the show, but she preferred to move forward. Still, her name remains synonymous with holding contestants accountable for their actions on the British reality show.
