Esha Deol has been leading all the headlines for the past few days with reports about her personal life. For those who don't know, Esha got married to Bharat Takhtani in 2012, and they are parents to their two beautiful daughters, Radhya Takhtani and Miraya Takhtani. However, after 12 years of their marital bliss, the duo decided to call it quits for the reasons best known to them. Talking about the reason for their separation, a viral Reddit post claimed that Bharat had been cheating on Esha, leading to their decision to end their marriage. However, earlier, a report suggested that Esha's father and the legendary actor, Dharmendra have been wanting Esha to rethink her decision to end her marriage. And now, a family member of the Deol clan has reacted to the reports.
As per a recent report by Times Now, a family member of the Deol family has strongly reacted to the reports about Dharmendra wanting Esha Deol to rethink her decision to end her marriage with Bharat Takhtani. Slamming all such reports, the family member expressed anger and stated that Dharmendra never interfered in his kids' lives. The member from the Deol clan also added that Dharmendra hasn't talked about Esha to anyone, even in his family, so there should be no doubt that the veteran actor wants Esha to give another thought to her decision. The family member stated:
"Where are these quotes of Dharamji coming from? He has not spoken to anyone about Esha. He hasn’t even spoken within the family about it. Dharamji has never interfered with his children’s lives. Why should he do so now?”

In the same interview, Deol also revealed that Dharmendra is at peace with Esha's decision to end her marriage with Bharat. The family member also stated that it's true that Dharmendra is a bit fond of his son-in-law, Bharat, but it doesn't necessarily mean that he wants Esha to rethink her decision. The member of the Deol clan also shared that no one in their family is shocked about Bharat and Esha's separation as it didn't happen overnight, and it had been a work in progress. The family member can be quoted as saying:
"It is very wrong of a section of the media to invade our privacy with fabricated comments. For the record, Dharamji is completely in harmony with Esha’s separation from her husband. He was, and remains, very fond of Bharat. But to suggest that Dharamji doesn’t want Esha to go through the painful separation is absurd. The separation has been a work-in-progress for some time now. It didn’t happen overnight. No one in the family is shocked. We wish the media would not act shocked on our behalf.”
Earlier, an insider told Bollywood Life that just like any other parent, Dharmendra isn't happy seeing his child's family broken. The insider also added that Dharmendra was against Esha and Bharat's decision to get separated.
Earlier, a report by the Delhi Times mentioned that Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani issued a joint statement wherein they mentioned that they parted ways mutually and amicably. The estranged couple also asked people to respect their privacy, adding that through this shift, their utmost priority is nothing but the well-being of their children.

After the report about Bharat Takhtani and Esha Deol surfaced in the media, and even after the confirmation, a post on Reddit went massively viral, wherein a Redditor quoted an eyewitness.
